I'm glad Fisher decided to continue coaching and not go into ESPN or broadcasting. He's too good of a coach to NOT be coaching. Keep in mind, when he was with the Titans in the late 90s, they relocated and went through 4 home stadiums in 4 years, and he still managed to keep them playing good football. I love his tough, hard-nosed attitude and his ability to get his guys to play their hearts out for him.
Came here for comparison while watching Sean McVay's introductory press conference. That break Fisher mentions came out as retirement at one point, which is why I didn't think hiring him as head coach was a good idea. He did improve the Rams' record from the past season's though. I am worried that Kroenke called Fisher "charismatic" and hope he's not using the same distorted view in calling McVay "energetic." I'm hoping McVay makes big changes on the training staff and scout team, for starters.
Kroenke just wanted to have him on as he made the transition to LA. Fisher had experience with this in the ‘90s when the Oilers moved to Tennessee from Houston and became the Titans.
pretty good move on rams part. we will see better coach+bradfords talent+ Jackson running like a monster+ possibly a kalil or blackmon in draft=playoffs in near future?
Am i the only one that sense a major case of deja vu here but only with different people? Think about it, Dick Vermeil returned to coaching out of retirement to come to St. Louis and within a few years took bad team from worst to first. Now we have Jeff Fisher doing the exact same thing coming back from a break or some would say a small retirement and coach in St. Louis. IJS Rams fans this is a huge coincidence to just sleep on. Rise of the Rams!!! RAMS FANS UNITE!!!
Get used to unanswered questions St. Louis. We had more than our fair share of them. Answers such as "I'm not going to get into the specifics" or "we move on" will be common place in your ears. LOL
All I have to say is... Look at Titans record... and now look at Rams record... I am not A Rams fan. I just really like Fisher, I think think he is a great coach! But I am not knocking You're opinion cause I am not a Titans fan so I wouldn't know that team too well.
Im going to be honest, Jeff Fisher is a good coach but i pretty much think he threw away our football team everytime. When we had a good defense in albert haynesworth , vandenbosch, kearse, bullock, he pretty much got rid of all them in the same year. Everytime we had a good offensive player he got rid of them. If you disagree then i will be happy 2 hear what u have 2 say but this is what I think.
He ruined a star QB with tons of potential just because that QB wasn't "his" guy. From all accounts, he and the owner didn't see eye to eye on the pick. He went out of his way to make sure that his point became reality through his lack of faith and support. That QB wasn't faultless, but his down fall was provoked, no doubt about it. He's your problem now St. Louis. We're better off without his mediocrity and overly conservative play calling. We don't call him "field goal Fisher" for nothing.
He is a good coach but he is emotionless and he throws away good players and so does the Titans current coaching staff, and its because our Owner is too cheap to use his money to hire championship winning coaches and players.
Can’t believe this was already like 7-9 years ago already.
Who is here after Sean McVay took the Rams to the Super Bowl?
Me XD rip fisher
Who’s here after the Rams are in Super Bowl 56?

The rams should get warner, Faulk, Bruce, Holt as coaches

Jeff is the keep it quiet coach. He is paid to keep quiet and lose prob to get the Rams out of STL IMO

@thinkbluedodgerblue so I have to know... moving to L.A. automatically gets the Rams wins? o.O
It actually did 😂
@TheTennesseanMan Are you kidding? McNair better than Warner? You have no idea.
