I find comment about many new characters interesting. I kinda expected 3-5 new ones mostly for final stages of story mode but its possible we will get more than that.
Considering there are 19 slots (3 more than PoFV), I honestly would expect most of those will be for returning characters, especially since the cast has expanded a lot since then, so seeing more than 4 new charas would be quite peculiar...
