Love it!
I love this 🙂 Artistically, this video is the reflection of what I've seen in her outlook on life, and I just hope she never loses it. And as for the execution, it's just perfect all round. I believe she said the animation artist is self-taught, which is amazing as they absolutely capture the positive light inside Yoyoka's soul, and match the mood of the song itself so well.
I love that she's taken care to show the breadth of her abilities in various genres, from classic hard rock to jazz, to a poppy, folk sound such as this.
First time I heard it I was really surprised. What is this? Then I analysed what I was expecting and realised it went out of my scope. Which is the best way to make a debut.
The song feels more personal than anything because I am used to another expression from Yoyoka - through her joyful drumming. What I have heard she made the demo for this song some three years ago and she has probably been writing music all along since her first songs with KANEAIYOYOKA.
If you think of all the projects she is involved in - showing her mastery in musical adaption - it's a sensation of fearful joy to see her standing, as much as she can, on her own feet now.

Very cool song! This is actually the kind of song/video they could get to go viral with the proper marketing, but it has to be done properly, not just posted and hope for the best.
Thank you for this reaction Wave! As a 66 year old man this sweet song blooms for me when I listen to it. As I've said before the longing for recognition (do you have names? And do you know mine?) and connection is there. A hope that there is someone up there listening as well as an awareness of our place in the universe is so poignant and universal. This song is full of clever wonder and deep mirth. Love the animation!!! Love the fact she's wearing a cardigan in the animation. Mister Rogers, Kurt Cobain and now Yoyoka all sporting cardigans!
I usually dislike autotune however this is about creating a sound rather than correcting a poor performance. I like everything about this. Love the guitar arabesque near the end and of course the tasteful drums front and center at the end, especially. The merchandise is sweet as well. All around another slendid offering for a class act. We are blessed!

I much prefer the progressive track I have heard from her in the past (edit: yes, Sparkling that was the name). This is just not as much my style of music and I think the vocals are a bit too processed. That all said, she did a great job on the drums/percussion like you would expect, it fits perfectly with what the track is going for. I hope it does well for her.
