I'm super excited for this boxset to release in Australia in late May. I've been wanting to collect the singles, but here they retail for about $25AUD, which is pretty hefty. So a 10 volume, $150AUD boxset is a very good price, and it means I can finally get into this series
Yeah, I noticed that as well. Kind of a strange choice to have the bottom/top designed like that, instead of just having it rest on the shelf. Hopefully it'll be fine, might just need to stuff some cardboard underneath it.
Same with me too! What I did was measure out a piece of cardboard and cut it out to fit the square shape of the bottom. That way, it added that support so it wouldn’t sag. Not my idea, but my friend suggested that. I recommend! It works great!
this is such an interesting box design! box sets seem so nice to buy but they almost never release them for series i like (only exception is wotakoi, and by the time that was released i already owned all the volumes)
Hey Ryley, I really enjoyed your top 10 concluded/unconcluded Manga videos. Could you do more top 10 Series in the future? For Exemplar top 10 Protagonist/antagonist oder top 10 manga with the best art. I think that would be interesting considering how many manga youve read.
My only issue with box sets is I don't know what to do with the actual box, so I'll probably just go for the volumes on their own. Thanks for showing off the box set though.

im considering buying this/putting it on a wish list, and i was wondering if anyone has some display ideas? id like to take the books out of the box to display the covers but i want to show off the box somehow 😭
You just convinced me to pick it up. My yen press volumes always arrives in terrible shape with a lot of chipped and ripped corners. But they seemed alright in this video so hopefully the box protects them and I can finally have some non damaged volumes! :)
If it weren’t for the fact that I already own the 10 individual volumes, I would like to get the box set.

My concern is the longevity of the box's bottom layer. Even now it looks like it's starting to sag with all the volumes in it.

There’s no way I can know that, you’d need to ask the publisher directly.
