@@ShottasDem It's about a "love Island" type. I wouldn't say it's about "toxic" masculinity - apart perhaps the threat of violence the subject makes in the first verse.

@@tron7658 yeah, I've read that. As I said, most of it conveys a kind of upper middle class narcissistic "love Island type" - apart from the few lines about "these boots are made for stomping". There are other idles songs which are more about toxic masculinity. Oddly Joe threatens the guy, so maybe there's more to it, as he is not above threatening violence himself here.

Now that they are getting more exposure/attention from late night shows, etc the size of their audience is growing as well as bringing attention to how creative and humble they are as people. I can't wait to see what is next for them!

I'm an old guy (55), was around in the Punk days, only discovered these on the back of their Glasto performance, huge fan now and cannot understate how impeccable the riffs and lyrics are.
Met a guy who looked like Joe Talbot at a Amyl & The Sniffers gig in Dublin. He protected all the women from creeps and getting crushed up front, dude is a hero
