have you done an artical on this car or taken pictures of the exterior because i would love to see what it looks like on the out side and i would love to know the modifications on it
I know it's an older video but could you explain why you were clutch kicking on your hotlap? I've never seen anyone do this outside of drifting. Are you trying to get more rotation on track out? I could see this being faster than a touch on the brakes. Super interesting video anyways!
Heya, hella late response. Clutch kicking in an FWD is a good skill to know as it helps the front wheels keep revs and gain traction out of corners, and especially with an LSD and in a car with less than 100hp, revs are everything. That was part of the reason my last lap was my fastest. It works very well at both hairpins.
As far as I know the engine is totally stock apart from an intake mod. 94hp gets you places when mechanical grip and power to weight is everything around such a short track.
Adam Zillin yeah i love those small car i had a crx with the d16a9 amazing car and feeling, small engine , no abs , esp. But the starlet engine is suposed to be « only » 75hp unless they ve got an more powerfull vers in japan?
@@edwinpannetier9761 The number I quoted was given to me by the tuners... simply because I couldn't believe it was that fast with so little power. In Japan the EP82 4E-FE had 89hp stock but the bump with that put it somewhere in that range. It might have had an ECU tune as well but 7500 is normal with those engines as you know.
It's too high for sure but 6 drivers, driver turnaround is a few seconds and stints 10 minutes for qualifying each driver. There was nothing I could do about the harness.
Great driving and narration, would love to build a starlet like that
This legit made my day, the little thing rips! More videos on this would we awesome!
Nice driving, I'm pretty mind blown with what can be achieved with such an underpowered car :D
Very nice Adam, It would be a dream to drive my cars at tsukuba one day

I second this.
bunta fujiwara Can do!
+Adam Zillin have you had the time to put something up iv looked but maby not good enuff cheers :)
Nice narration!
How does the Starlet compare to 90's Civics like the EF and EG in Japan?
Dude made sure he was talking THE ENTIRE TIME. It's much easier to find the grip and your racing line if you're not talking.
You should get a HANS device.
Are you referring to the one driving or someone else?
BTW, love your vids, is the FD yours?
What's the handling set up on it?

still waiting for the altezza video :))
Good time for that car Adam :)
I did not understand a thing...
Where is that clueless driver anyway?
If it's that vintage car, there's nothing to put my finger on.
When, where?
+Jan Erik Kristiansen it was tough and cheek of the driver we were riding with.
Lol you eat up the track. What motor is it?
Lloyd Carrillo 1.3 liter, twin cam, 94hp 4E-FE
194hp you mean?
Lloyd Carrillo no he means 94
Lloyd Carrillo Nope... it actually has only 94hp...
How did you get 94hp from it?

Is it me, or is your lap harness quite high? o_o
