The disappointing aspect of our country is the concept of dating is not openly discussed between parents and children, at least in middle class nuclear families. The father is busy toiling, and the mother keeps telling her son to be a good boy. So, this boy turns out to be too obedient to be rebellious. His parents have created a fear in him for anything that is risky. So, he is scared to venture out into anything. He settles down for a mediocre job, he has a crush on a girl but can't approach her. So, he spends hell a lot amount of time on social media satisfying his primal instincts. Now with internet being accessible to everyone, and intellectuals like you coming on social media, we can only hope that the present generation will turn out to be good parents.
