I was wondering if you would be able to put led lights instead of fairy lights or would you have to take them down for room inspections too?

Hi Triscilla, so I am not completely sure but led lights could work if they don't plug into the wall and as long as you can monitor the heat on it so they don't make burn marks on the wall. Make sure to read the guidelines on UCF's housing website beforehand though just to double-check.

edit: does anyone know if you can tape things to walls? like a poster or something that doesn't necessarily need command strips

yea!! I mean anything will do at this point! UCF will provide a free reusable face mask for everyone as well as hand sanitizers so that’s something 🤗 there’s some good cleaning supplies at pharmacy’s too like Walgreens and CVS!

yea technically you can't but like my roommate did and she just kept it a secret as long as you are careful and talk to your RA about it it should be okay. The big no no is candles cause its a huge fire hazard.
