vanessa hudgens is the victoria justice of disney channel. not the strongest individual, but she still had her moments.
I disagree I think some of the roles she had after HSM were more successful than the roles that Victoria had after Victorious. Also Vanessa released two albums that were a little more mature while Victoria Justice never released an album and she didn't shed her kid friendly image at all. I also think Vanessa has a better singing voice and the HSM franchise made more hit songs than the Victorious franchise.
I don't think so, Vanessa has had so many and more important roles than Victoria and you can see Vanessa its not kid friendly anymore, i iknow that Victoria did Rocky Horror but she had so many bad reviews while Vanessa has been preached for most of her roles

With the COVID-19 situation, I do understand what she meant. But, I also believe she worded it poorly, even though it wasn't her intention. Since then, she’s taken accountability, apologized, and educated herself. I don’t think people should have “cancelled” her for what she said. I believe in accountability culture. Hold someone accountable for their actions and give them a chance to grow from their mistakes.

We gotta ask the same question about all those Disney stars.
I feel like disney stars don't know how to transition from disney to Hollywood/adult world what ever they call it.
Only a few have been successful at doing this and a great example is zandeya. One thing I know is that you need your parents or guardians to help you transition safely and a good concept. Too many disney stars who wanted to break into the music industry have done the bad boy, bad girl concept and I'm just there like "cringe and typical" and no matter what anyone tells you visuals and branding are important. Many of them simply don't have that wow factor like Nick jonas or miley cyrus. My two cents.

I actually didn’t like her that much in her HSM days. Ashley Tisdale was more interesting to me. However, I’ve grown to like and appreciate Vanessa more as we’ve all gotten older. She seems like such a sweet and genuine person.

I saw her live as the lead in In The Heights. She was genuinely amazing. I think Broadway is her passion, and she’s really good at it.

I've seen some of Vanessa's mature roles like Gimme Shelter,Bad Boys,Grease Live. She did Broadway too,so I find her voice more suited for musicals. I think she's a good actress. She left music after Disney label,so I don't find a point in talking about her music career .Disney kinda forced all the girls at the time to release teen pop music. I'm glad she didn't try to become another Disney popgirl with auto tuned voice

The book is also notably darker than that film, but without “Lemonade Mouth” we wouldn’t have the blessing that is Naomi Scott- she played Mo in Lemonade Mouth and Princess Jasmine In the live action remake of Aladdin. V is a criminally underrated masterpiece that really shows off more mature style, alongside Hilary Duff's Dignity and The Cheetah Girls' TCG album
She's so beautiful but because of her mistakes people tend to hate her for everything she does. Being her fan since HSM, I wish people will threat her better, she got better in singing and acting and she works hard but sadly she will never be taken seriously, wishing her the best always 🌟

I never understood why she didn't continue with her music career. Both 'V' and 'Identified' had some serious bops. I think it all comes down to what happens to a lot of artists...the label! 'Identified' had one of her most beautiful ballads "Vulnerable" which they released but not with the album and can't be found in streaming platforms...only "Sneakernight" had a music video. I never saw much of a promo for the album at all back in the day. Her R&B sound was so different from the typical Disney, it really stood out.
I remember playing the entire 'V' album from beginning to end as a 13 y/o and loving it. A few months back I revisited it, and her sound was ahead of her time. They wrote some serious bops for her. "Promise," "Drive," and "Afraid" are really good. She has a really unique voice, too. They really wasted her potential by dropping her after 'Identified'. At the same time, I think she lacked the passion for it...we would've seen more independent stuff from her by now had she really been passionate about it.
