One thing I wanna say is all things considered, I really relate to Mike when he talks about his struggles and his journey so I wish people wouldn't talk shxt about it cause I don't want him to intentionally avoid discussing those things just to appease people. And also I genuinely enjoy hearing him talk about it. He's interesting. 🤷🏻 Edit: and as I said in a comment in this thread, it is nice to have someone with a platform discussing addition openly and helping to de-stigmatize it. You'd be surprised by all the people in your own life or around you who are struggling with addiction but just good at hiding it and too afraid to get help. I've known teachers, nurses, etc "good people" with "good lives" who no one would ever imagine the secrets they carry. And there's a reason they won't seek help! We gotta talk about it. People are dying every day. This can help so many.

I agree. But I get why some viewers don't like it, it is difficult to engage with his backstory if the viewer can't find any piece of it to relate to. And unfortunately people still look at recovery addicts like they are terrible people. The stigma associated with the stuff in his past is still pretty bad.

Yeah, and that's exactly why addicts like me appreciate that someone with a platform that size (and also more success than many people see in a lifetime!) is comfortable talking about it which helps take away the stigma of addiction, and also the taboo-ness of discussing it openly.
Please provide microphones to provide sound in your audience section. I think a great aspect of the Impulsive podcast is the spontaneous interactions with people in your surrounding area. Thank you and keep up the great work. It gets me through the day at work, when I listen and watch.

i hate when people get mad at mike for “complaining”. like that’s just how anxiety is, maybe not for everyone but ik for me expressing what is upsetting you isn’t meant to be complaining it’s just to help relieve some of that stress, and it’s very hard to not “complain” especially when your anxiety is really bad at the moment

Logan I just finished watching the podcast and I’ve been with a bad injury for just under a year I’m a junior in high school and I’m a 3 sport athlete and this has been one of the most depressing years of my life I had to have surgery at the beginning of the summer and am about to start pt love the podcasts and wish I could join the club but I can’t afford it love the content and it’s amasing to see how much you’ve grown.
