Its always fascinating to learn how much time these guys have dedicated
to master the art of clickbate headlines, fast paced content and visual effects to capture peoples attention span and exploit our hardwired vulnerabilities.
Most of these streamers, platform owners and content creators like Mr.Beast seem like a good guys,
so it would be interesting to know do they ever feel guilt about hooking so many people to watch
literally billions of hours mindless entertainment just for the small spike of dopamine.
Seems like a taboo subject in these interviews - while being the most obvious one.
Jimmy clearly seems to be bothered that people only order fast food from his restaurants
that will give them cancer, heart disease and diabetes on a global scale, instead buying the healthy options that they have.
Seems a bit weird thing to celebrate, worship and get excited about.
As entertaining and captivating as the videos may be,
nowadays internet addiction is a very real problem affecting millions/billions of people everyday.
These digital replacement therapies on a screen rob millions people of their real life achievements, good health, meaningful connection, true love and other priceless things in life.
Is it wise to exploit kids and teenagers by making this content as addictive as possible, and turn our vulnerable youth into braindead consumers with 4 second attention span, with no social skills, poor sleep, bad health and unable to focus on their school, career and life full of real adventures?

Its always fascinating to learn how much time these guys have dedicated to master the art of clickbate headlines, fast paced content and visual effects to capture peoples attention span and exploit our hardwired vulnerabilities.🤓
Most of these streamers, platform owners and content creators like Mr.Beast seem like a good guys, so it would be interesting to know do they ever feel guilt about hooking so many people into watching literally billions of hours of mindless entertainment just for the small spike of dopamine, instead any true fullfilment or real lasting satisfaction.🤔
Seems like a taboo subject in these interviews - while being the most obvious one. Jimmy clearly seems to be bothered that people only order fast food from his restaurants that will give them cancer, heart disease and diabetes on a global scale, instead buying the healthy options that they have. Seems a bit weird thing to celebrate, get excited about and to be proud of. Being the predator who hooks school children into gambling and mobile games for better ROI.💸
As entertaining and captivating as the videos may be, nowadays internet addiction is a very real problem affecting millions/billions of people everyday. These digital replacement therapies on a screen rob millions people of their real life achievements, good health, meaningful connection, true love and other priceless things in life. Is it wise to exploit kids and teenagers by making this content as addictive as possible, and turn our vulnerable youth into braindead consumers with 4 second attention span, with no social skills, poor sleep, bad health and unable to focus on their school, career and life full of laughter, love and real adventures?🏝

I liked both, but Rogan's was better imo because he has learned over the years to let the guest speak more. There were so many times in this that Jimmy was trying to say something and he was cut off multiple times for a joke cracked by someone. It was frustrating. Very much agreed.
Incredible episode. Been watching podcasts and content since Joe Rogan launched his and started watching within the first 50 episodes on UStream. Mr. Beast or if anyone sees this i need your help. Im disabled with no support system and am having a very tough time the last few years as my illness has progressed. Since being in the hospital 2 years ago i haven't been the same since. I have no income and very little food. Down to 130lbs from 180. Going to get a CT Angiogram this Friday morning to see what's going on with my heart. I love and appreciate all the philanthropic work you and your team are so incredible at. As well as thoroughly enjoy your content. Much love. Best Regards, James.

1:12:30 - The big things for hiring someone (also usually better to hire people with specific knowledge than general)
1:16:01 - The impact of stories over the impact of just events
1:18:05 - How to tell impactful stories and keep viewers hooked
1:48:17 - UA-camrs leveraging influence and starting their own companies. Commodities provided by influencers.
1:55:30 - Less liabilities = more power to take risks (fun of building businesses)
2:08:00 - Getting knowledge then going all in
2:14:23 - Addiction in right direction
3:01:40 - Storytelling just hits the spot when
3:23:12 - Perspective over time and money
3:24:25 - How to go about living by outsourcing shit
3:36:40 - Euphoria when you find someone who wants to hear what you have to say. Finding your tribe.
    3:39:16 - Weirdo
3:34:22 - People don't know what they want, keep innovating, pivoting, lot of risk and lots of guts.
Biggest lesson - Story should be free flowing and simple without any hard stops. Like proper dopamine hit. Just make shit people would like to watch, it's that simple.

Watching these two VERY different crews come together to this effect was amazing!! Mark was on fire, Andrew humble enough to take the banter and then crying with Jimmy. The mix of YT world insights, emotive stories and outstanding banter makes this a classic. Incredible content, kudos!

@@KC-dj9zz yup it’s that clingy thing where he hangs around to be relevant but you can read the body language and it’s so off putting. So fake and brings nothing of substance to the convo.
I agree it would be better if Andrew would trim the fat, not replace. The interviews were great, and if Akash wasn’t there then it wouldn’t have changed the dynamic. So what does that tell you, he adds nothing. If anything just removing him would be best, able to focus in on the guys that are actually making the episode awsome.
