- 300km a day is more than I thought I could do in a day on my electric motorcycle EVE in Iran. Even though I have to find somewhere to plug her in every day and let her charge for about 3 hours I think this should be possible to cross the country within the 30 days of my visa. I will make it work for sure! People are lovely and try to help out as much as they can…

In every single video I have watched of people traveling through Iran, the people are unbelievably friendly everywhere. Its absolutely amazing to see.
It has been my experience (even in so called “dangerous countries) that the people are the same everywhere - its the Politicians that cause all the problems between people from different countries
@@heleti0000 Well said
@@heleti0000absolutely correct 💯
Iran gets so little Western tourists so when we see them they are a big sense of curiosity and amusement for us and we try to make their trip more memorable, Iran is a country not spoiled with mass tourism!
@@austpers I want you to know that many people know it's not the people of Iran that are the problem but just like in the west the problem is the Government
Amazing hospitality from the iranian people. I can't believe they just rolled up on you and gave you free food 😅 that was awesome. Have fun bro ✌❤
Iranian hospitality is the best.
The thing you ate at the end of the clip is called lavashake. Lavashak is a food with a sour and salty taste, which is prepared from concentrated and thick juice of fruits such as plums, apricots, plums, apples, kiwi, kiwi, etc. All love from Teheran.😍
What a great representation of Iran. Those 3 you met on the road were great. So thoughtful of them to provide you some food for the road. Fantastic Iranian's. 🙂
Yes 🤗
Iranian people are so kind esp when they offered you food i melted
Hey Marcus, as an Iranian I’d like to welcome you to Iran and I hope you’ll have a safe journey and enjoy every moments while you’re in beautiful Iran ❤ I’d recommend getting advices and tips from locals about anything or places to visit , you won’t be disappointed, people are very friendly and helpful. We love tourists and we always appreciate your visits and sharing your experiences with others around the world . Iranians are nothing like the governments which you might see on media outlets. All the best and stay safe my friend ❤
❤
Looks like you are having a very pleasant journey through Iran Marcus. Nice people and decent weather! YOU ARE DOING THIS! 😁😁🏍🏍
What a nice classical medieval era hotel! The snack looks to be the old world version of Fruit Roll Ups. Travel is living; staying home broke is misery.
I'm sorry about that parking issue, but there is a good reason behind it!
We never wake up anyone or disturb their peace for moving their vehicle if it's possible to do sth about it ourselves (cuz we're so close and friendly with each other) and i promise if they knew you were not accostumed with this Iranian thing, thay would have asked you nicely.
They just didn't want to bother you for a parking space, but they just couldn't do it well!
don't mind us bro😅❤
They moved it a few feet out of the way. I thought Marc was being a bit petty, even mentioning it and making a big deal out of it.
He's been receiving nothing but absolute hospitality, not to mention charging for free, and then he blows a gasket because his bike was moved 2 feet to make room 😆😆.
Really? Lol
I recently watched a YT video from 'Big Car' called 'Takes Your Breath Away - The Peugeot 405 Story' which tells about the connection with Iran. I was surprised about the amount of manufacturing in Iran. They are an exporter in heavy machinery.
My friend, they gave you a LAVASHAK, which is a traditional Iranian snack. Lavashak, or fruit leather, is made from various fruits. A thick extract of fruits is prepared and then dried to make Lavashak. In the old days, people would mash an excess amount of fruits and dry them under the sun, and that's how Lavashak was first made. Have fun and enjoy Iranian hospitality. I hope your journey continues smoothly.
Glad to see you back in the saddle! The kindness of people is very heartwarming. Do you offer to pay for the electricity at the restaurants and do they accept? Here's a few $ to help with that. :-) Ride safe!
Being Iranian myself I'll venture a guess and say there's no way they would accept payment for such things. They see him as a guest in The country and will do whatever it takes to make sure his passage is safe.
Iranians will give you the shirts off their back as long as you treat them with respect (and fair). If they get even a whiff that you're trying to pull the wool over their head?... Oh boy, watch your ass because we can be just as mean as we're nice 😅
@@Hardy_H_H Thanks (genuinely) for the cultural perspective! My father (German) taught me to never be a freeloader, so I always try to be generous. But I also understand it might be an insult to offer payment. Perhaps the best way to show appreciation is to pay for an enjoy the food that the restaurant owner provides.
You are pretty cool guy for donating him
Gasoline and electricity and natural gas are close to free in Iran, and I doubt any Iranian would charge a foreigner for it…
Again, nothing but the nicest people. I envy you and your encounters. Thanks for sharing another great trip!
Ride safe.
Ride smart.
Have fun!
I had a Peugeot 405 in about 1994 so cool to see so many 405's rocking around and in such great shape 👍 Keep Riding Marc, loving the Iran videos very cool to see a country where I will probably never have chance to visit. So thank you
Thanks for tuning in mate 🤗
hey marc, love your channel and everything you are doing.
a little bit of info about the fruit thing you ate: it's called "lavashak لواشک" , and it's snack made from different types of fruit, we Iranians really like our sour snacks, sour food , etc.
also i recommend that you give "fesenjoon" a try next time you are at a restaurant. it's the GOAT of iranian foods imo.
"fesenjãn" is the literary way of pronouncing it but "fesenjoon" is the colloquial way
long "ã" sounds usually turn into "oo" sounds in colloquial Persian ( specially in tehrani accent)
@@paulwassenaar8351
@@paulwassenaar8351 fesen joooooon, ghorboonet beram joooooon lol.... (if you can understand Farsi you'll get it, if not it just looks out of place and weird, it's a play on a word that has more than 1 meaning)
The people seem so friendly. Really nice to see that normal people are just happy to get on with life. The driving looks....eh...interesting 😂 Looks a really interesting place.
TV and news tell lies about Iran, which is dangerous. I am Afghan, but I lived in Iran. Many people are kind and good. If you have a problem, they will help you without any pay.
All the people you meet are so friendly! It's awesome. And they let you charge! It's so amazing that you can have an electric motorcycle without the country having chargers :D Looking forward to see more!
There is no charger becoz we have 10 percent of worlds oil and gas 😁
Glad you’re finding friendly people. Aura is everything which is why Itchy Boots is so successful.
Noraly had a great time with the kindest & helpful people in Iran.
Trinidad & Tobago.
West indies.
So nice people there. It's heartwarming to see that.
I was surprised to see the lady without a headscarf. I thought in Iran it's not good to be seen without. I hope she's not in trouble now.
most people in Iran don't care about hijab
I worried about that too. Maybe ask before you post videos of women?
I can't wait for you to reach Tehran; I miss my hometown. Here are two important tips for your trip in Iran: watch out for those blue pickup trucks ☠ (Nissan Abi), and if you experience stomachaches, don't worry. It's likely because of 'Lavashak,' which is what we call the Leather fruit in Persian. You shouldn't eat too much. 😁
Thank you Marc for showing the truth about Iran in this times when many try to push a war to Iran. People er always people no matter where.
Your timing now is superb. You er on the right place on right time.
Keep on moving heaven has a plan for you!
One of my favorite things about this series is that no matter where you go there are way more good people than bad.
how is bad !!!!😁all of them welcome him and friendly
iranian people is very good
but bro i am afghan i lived iran before 😊
Hey bro welcome to persia so glad too see u in video keep safe good luk body persian people are so freindly have fun 🇮🇷🍻✌️
And at the last part of the video, you are eating "Lavashak" which I'm craving for the most 😢😢 it's a healthy and strong snack made of a mixture of ripe fruits that are boiled, filtered and then dehydrated under the sun.
it's so delicious and healthy and God i want some😭
Some Iranian foods you can found in every city, try also local foods which is different from province to province these foods are rare to find in other provinces , you would love them .
Due to its large area, Iran requires a lot of time to travel and see its beautiful places. You would see all four seasons in different part of it
Great to see you meet friendly people along the road. Thanks for showing us this journey through a country we like to see and its ordinary friendly people. Safe travels Marc.
What a great day 🤗
Hello everyone it’s me on video
Thank you for watching 😍Be kind to everybody love ya
Have nice travel
19:45 it's called lavashak,it's an Iranian snack that is made by smashing the fruits like(apply, black pulm or actually any fruit that you like)and then letting it to dry out by sun traditionally
درود چقدر عالی که به همدان آمدید امیدوارم از سفرتان به ایران لذت ببرید😊
Amazing friendly people great info
Another great video , I get battery anxiety watching 😅
You're the best, we're behind you all the way!
Hi Marc, great to catch up with your travels and to see your videos are as excellent as they always have been - awesome to see you travel through Iran . I have friends a husband and wife who have been cycling around the world and without hesitation, they named Iran as the country that made the most impression on them because of the friendliness and generosity of the people . If only this were true of mankind generally 🙏 Safe travels 👍
20:10 It's called Lavashak which is a kind of snack in Iran, basically dry fruits, and I think 99.99% of Iranian people including myself Love that thing.😁😘🤩
Me too now 🤩
❤❤@@MarcTravels
mostly made from plums and souer cherrys. please don't miss the Gilan provience with it's nice food and friendly people.
I keep saying I need to visit Iran. I have been fascinated with it for years now.
Good to see you again bro ❤ have a great time and take care ❤ love from balochistan
Great to see your video from Iran. Ride safe.
I have the same helmet in white, it's a SPADA. Excellent fit and finish. Enjoying your videos especially in this part of the world, lovely people.
orange helmet is attractive, you've chosen nice color man, it's peaceful
Good to see you back, what amazing friendly people you meet, I am so envious of your travels. Keep it up.
Hi Marc.Enjoying to watch your video's,have fun in beautiful Iran
You are certainly riding thru some great countryside
Always look forward to you uploading. Keep it coming Marc, You will greatly assist me getting through this long winter to come. The tag music from 5 mins in is great to hear again.

Weiter so! 👍🏼
Great filming Marc, be safe.
Praying for safe travels.
Do not worry he not in U.S to get shot suddenly...after you destroyed evey thing in the region unfortunately we are still nice to European people
Have Fun , drive save ! !
Such nice people. You got this !
Hey boy, welcome to my country. I don't know where you are in Iran now, but I hope you enjoy the hospitality of my compatriots ❤🤍💚
I'm green with envy, another fab video mate be safe
I had to chuckle, I could see you completely polishing that fruit item off at the end :D
I think the whole idea of making longer charging stops into editing sessions would also be good as a mental break from constant riding, although that coul dbe weather dependent - getting back into wet gear after a nice warm 3hr break wouldn't be too fun! Nice to see you settling into the journey though and enjoying the road once more. Safe journeys my friend! 🤙
Beautiful country and nice people, but you are braver than me travelling through Iran , glad it’s all going well
Yes, make use of the charging time for your work and get more sleep, good idea.
They're all really friendly!
Did i mentioned in the Past Iranian hospitality by the normal pople i´m not sure 😁I hope you took further the Sceic route to Alamut and at the Caspian See to Tehran.
Nice to see you again!👍😊
I've enjoyed your videos immensely and I'm glad I found your channel. What a beautiful sight to see, a country that an American likely will never see. I drive a 2017 Chevy volt with 209k miles and 85k electric miles on the battery and I've always been interested in the Zero brand. Very happy to check in and watch your videos, safe travels, buddy.
What a friendly people. Must be alien to them to see EVA there.
Really enjoy watching your traves through Iran. Think in Iran thumbs up is a rude gesture. Good luck with your travels.
Fascinating video as always.
You where dicing with disaster with that battery 😂. Food looked wonderful.
Herzlich willkommen 👍ich hoffe ,dass alles im Iran gut geht.✌
Wow, Marc, I used to live in Saggez went to elem school for 2 years, and before that lived in Hamadan for 1 year, longtime ago. Both cities are in Kurdistan part of Iran. If your postings were in real time; I would've asked you to visit some people I know in Saqqez, and send me photos, perhaps if you return to the area let me know. The dried fruit sheet you liked a lot is called "Lavashak" in Farsi made from zard aloo or other fruits dried inder the sun. Don't forget to visit Sanandaj and later Kermanshah if haven't yet, they have awesome historical sites some older than 9000 years. Mariwan is also famous for its nature, lakes & town. Have fun 👍🥇🏆
Hamedan isn’t Kordestan but ok lol
@@Hermesborugerdianit is not ok. 😠

@@tataii he's right, Hamedan is not part of Kurdistan province, it's its own province. what's with you Kurds? Kurdistan is not a country and never has been, yet you act as if you have a separate nationality than those around you ... lol
Relax buddy, you're not that special🤣
You met some lovely people in Iran! 👍👍
Hello, it makes us happy that you are traveling to Tehran, the capital of Iran
