If you’re an extreme liberal/left leaving a liberal/blue state, I hope you have the smart idea of leaving those socialistic/marxist/communistic ideas there.
unfortunately not example Kenosha most of the people living there moved just over the border from Illinois due to the same issues with Illinois that California has and brought all the same voting policies with them thus you got the riots there and a mayor unwilling to stop them
That’s the problem, they will take their ulta left, progressive, socialist, Marxist ‘ideas’ per Beijing Biden with them to other states. They get what they vote for.

I moved to San Diego for 9 months because of my job. I think having a bunch of buildings full of expensive condos and a bunch of homeless people and trash outside is straight out of a dystopian novel.

I’m leaving California mid October. There are sick depraved people everywhere and the ones who aren’t homeless or drug addicts are extremely hostile and brainwashed. I’m also paying sooooo much in income tax for what?
cajunO21 I haven’t even watched the video yet but I’m guessing I’m going to agree with most of it because I also grew up in California the reason I couldn’t help save the state is because we moved right before I was able to vote Funny enough we also moved because things were getting so bad That was back in 2014 Every time we visit now it’s sad to see my city full of homeless people and trash and homeless people and smog and crime and homeless people Did I mention there’s a lot of homeless people (I was talking about San Jose)
but Californian voters seem to love it. I mean, just look at their behavior and choices in politicians. I am not saying all, but sadly, the good ones are being affected.
The Glowing Brownie They don’t know better, it’s easy to trick them. That’s why you see Biden get interviewed by Cardi B and his approvals go up. Most people in general don’t understand how the economy or politics work, so they vote for who ever promises them the most things for free.
Dave Winch Thankfully the US is composed by self governing bodies (States). California is going to shit, all the entrepreneurs are leaving and we won’t have people to take money from to give it to the people mooching of the government programs. It will lead to a collapse, but other states will see that socialism doesn’t work. I drive by downtown LA every single day and I see homeless everywhere. Where is the state tax money they take from our checks going?
Go home. Stay out of California, your conservatism is a nightmare for prosperity. Republicans make messes wherever they go with their subservience to corporate power and the political pimps who call themselves leaders. Your religion, lack of education and poverty-stricken counties speak for themselves.

I was born and raised in San Francisco, which is having the same problems as L.A. We are both disheartened, dismayed and angered as to what has occurred here, and see no hope seeing it getting better. We have been having serious discussions as to where to move to.
There's an ever-shrinking number of rational, logical thinkers in the state. If you met and conversed with one of the masses, you'd give up hope, as I have. The very tolerant "intolerant thought police" don't like having to leave their TDS aside and do some actual critical thinking. Much easier to put on a slogan shirt and virtue signal while they careen like sheeple toward the cliff. So, no, the majority of voters here seem to think that free college, free housing, free child-care, free meals, free health care, etc. are actually FREE. SMH
It’s true there are a lot of brainwashed people in CA, but there are a lot of rational people no one knows about because they’re ignored by the government. CA had nearly as many Trump voters in 2016 as Texas. The problem is that once there is one party control, they change laws to keep that control and voter fraud is a huge problem in CA.
@@AnD-ev1by yes exactly what I was thinking. They have a huge population of people who voted for trump but the problem is these unions who are basically voting bags for politicians and like you said voter fraud.

I was out in LA/Mojave desert in the early to mid 70s and it was great. It is a shame how the world has changed within the last 50 years. Hell no... stay right where you're at...because nobody here in Colo wants you to move here we all ready have enough outsiders here try to put new restrictions and laws on the books...Big city people just have a different kind of way of thinking.
Lol Wyoming has a very high suicide and divorce rate, some of the worst actually. It's not so much politics like everyone likes to think, too many people and not enough affordable sustainable housing or infrastructure to support a population living on meager wages. It'll happen anywhere the community booms. I'm watching it happen where I'm at in AZ and it's not a super group of CA libs either. Places like CA, OR and WA happen to also have stable weather that allows for homeless to set up camp all year where places like AZ are rather difficult to do so. Just too many people man.
Most won't. They'll move to an actual nice, reasonable place and do NOTHING but talk shit about how "backwards" and "ignorant" the people are. I've seen it dozens of times firsthand.
Yep, what you are saying is absolutely true! I moved at age 61 after being born and raised in Southern California. It makes me so sad when I remember the way California used to be as a kid and what the Politicians have allowed it to become now.
I've been to California one time in my entire life, all the way back in 2010. I spent two weeks in that state. If I never set foot in California again, it'll be too soon.
California tricks voters to keep it democratic. Only two republicans and ten or more democrats going for governor. The two republicans votes get split causing the two to have low votes. The democrats put high advertising on only two favorites . Those two always win. So then you vote for this democrat or that democrat . California is the only state that has this . The dems will always win.
Einstein said that The definition of Insanity was repeating the same actions over and over again and expecting different results, like voting Democrat over and over again

That is the dumbest thing I've ever read. Why would those of us that have fled a fascist catastrophe go somewhere and demand more fascism? It is a proven fact that the people that flee California vote conservative at a higher percentage than the host population. The problem lies in YOUR millennials and not us.
@@fullclipaudio you can tell that to the native Idahoans who are facing massive problems with the exodus of young Californians who bring their backwards, flippant attitudes, low morals and complete lack of respect and decency for their neighbors. It is also happening in other states, so before you state how that is the 'dumbest thing you ever read', maybe take a step back and realize Steve might be talking about people without right-wing values or politics. People ruining great states b bringing the problems of their own selves into those states. The exodus into other states is not just right-leaning people, not by al long shot. We live in a republic where the states are in control of how the state is run. You can't blame the rest of the US for it. It's a Democratic party ideology that is causing the economic disaster. They exist because the people believe the ideology will be perfected someday and form a utopian socialist state. lol
@Omar A Jimenez I find it very astounding that a large company like Google that prides itself on support for social ideals yet does nothing for it's lesser employees. That is what helps shape my current view on socialism and corporations that lean to the left.

Listen I wish that was true but it's not. I don't know who's advising you on the California real estate market but the person who's writing you right now can tell you that that is far from the truth sadly. Two points… Inventory in Orange County right now just using Orange County as an example because it's where I live is the lowest it's been in history. The lowest. Also the real estate values have climbed by 11%. An astonishing 11% with all of the "I can't wait to leave California" articles. There's a huge disconnect between what's actually going on here which is a very very hot real estate market and the concept that people are fleeing the state. Six months ago I placed an offer on a home in Laguna Niguel. It's a crappy townhome 1600 ft.² 40 years old 3 miles from the beach Listed for $960,000.… 3 miles from Laguna Beach but definitely not on the beach but near it. There were 20 offers on the property six months ago. Almost all of them were above asking and I lost to the highest bidder. Since then the highest bidder that bought that property put it back on the market six months later for $75,000 more than he bought it for and it sold in one day. Your friends that are having trouble selling their houses in California are definitely not living in the desirable parts of the state which I would say is anywhere along the coast from the Oregon border all the way down to Tijuana Mexico.
I was 3rd gen. CA. with deep ties to the community. I had my own business, had kids and we left at the end of 1999. My mother is still there and it pains me to see how far the state has devolved. Once the dems were in control for a few years, things really went downhill and individual rights were trampled. The dems thought they could impose socialism because of the huge economy, resource base, amazing geography and population. They thought wrong. You are wise to move, Ben. Best of luck to you and yours in your new home.
Slightly hyperbolic. The overpasses near la Canada flintridge doesn’t have homeless encampments, so not ALL overpasses have encampments. However, I agree there’s homeless people in every LA city to some extent. I’m a Latino conservative living in SoCal just so you don’t think I’m biased. I grew up in SF and then moved to Chicago for work. Lived there for 6 yrs until I couldn’t take the high taxes and crooked state and local politicians so I moved to a red state as well. I love it. The schools, maintained streets, well manicured parks, no crime, no filth, no homelessness, everything is reasonably priced...it’s just night and day. I’ll never live in a blue state again.
I was born, raised and live in CA. I remember watching this video 2 years and thinking "it can't get anyone worse" magically it did. The E.Bay Area is insane to live in right now.

The'll try...and until it works it's way through the court system people credit will get trashed. I lived in CA for 1 yr in the early 2000s. My eyes were opened to CA tricks when I registered my car and the bill came out to $1,950...I totally lost it. You see I bought my car 2 1/2 months before moving to CA...CA had a law at the time (which has since been overturned by the Supreme Court), that if you bought a car within 90 days of moving to the state, you must have done it to avoid CA sales tax, so if you moved to CA you had to pay the CA sales tax too. IT was absurd. Do people in CA remember that law? I think I'm recalling it correctly. Either way, I never got my absurd registration fee back.
The big question would be if that is even constitutional? That is taxation without representation. Since you don't live in california and aren't being misrepresented by a political figure nor are you using any state services of the state how could that be legal? You should only be allowed to be taxed by your home state.

The same bottomline applies to people moving out of these badly run places, either countries or states: if you decide to leave, it really implies you agree the place is badly run, so just don't support the same policies that brought so much chaos you had to leave when you settle again somewhere new. Your hosts deserve better.

We left in 05 for the last time, I watched the state I was raised in turn into a very unhealthy place to live and yes that includes the Crime and Homeless situation, and all level of government have no evidence of resolving this situation, not to mention higher taxes, gas, homes etc., it's Ed system is now broken and we see no hope of this being fixed as those who live in areas that aren't effected fund the Bad Socialist Dems no in power and even the last Republican Schwatznager who I knew would be bad but was much Worse than even I thought possible. I only hope that AZ doesn't turn into something just as bad but Hotter as it's already on its way with PAC funded Republican Career Politicians, so if you plan to travel there I suggest you stay in a Hotel with Security and a safe area if you can still find one and we left before Theft was a State sponsored activity. God Bless You All; Clair Van Steenwyk
Valid reasons! Sadly most of those who leave keep their voting habits. And they are heading to southern states like Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Texas, Florida and are dragging them to the left. These states will become like California if we do not educate those people. Talk to your new neighbors, show them why we have it better.
It’s true some of the people leaving have this mindset. Many of the people leaving don’t though. In 2016 CA had almost as many Trump voters as Texas. It’s many of these people that are moving because they’re giving up and can’t take it anymore. They understand why CA is a 💩 hole. Though the ones that don’t are scary, lol.
An D agree with you! I’m a born and raised Californian who no longer belongs here. Those leaving California, that I know, are more like-minded to southern states. They fit in better sharing same values.Sadly many who want to move are unable to for a variety of reasons, and my heart goes out to them. Many of those choosing to stay in California are those who don’t mind the changes here. They are more in-line with the values of those who have run this state.
JJ Murphy I wish you were right. Every year, between 500.000 and 700.000 people leave California, that is more than the entire state of Wyoming. The population does not decrease because a lot of people also move in (also about 500.000). Those who move in will have their kids brainwashed, then those kids will leave California and vote blue. Of those leaving, most go to Texas, Arizons is number 2. Can I remind you that Arizona used to be safe red? And this election it is lean blue! Texas will be where Arizona is within 2 elections :(
It has 1 or 2 local laws that are better than other places IMO. Too bad, they are cast among some of the worst and most atrocious laws of any state at the same time, giving them a bad reputation by association.
I can see it though. If you grew up there.. I’m sure they keep hoping it will get better and change. At some point hope is lost when you get let down year after year.
It's maybe because of the tech industry, lots of software engineers come to Silicon Valley because lots of tech companies have offices there and offer very good salaries.
My husband and I were born in SoCal and we’ve lived here our entire lives. High probability that next summer we are selling the house and moving to TX. We can’t take the liberal politics anymore- it’s out of control.
So many people are fleeing Cali to Texas if you rent a U-haul from Texas to Cali it’s free lol. I really hope they don’t ruin the greatest state. Or hopefully most just go to Austin which is already ruined.

Ben I'm glad you got out but I feel like Californians made their bed and should sleep in it. Instead they all moved to Colorado (and repeat the same mistakes) and are the primary reason I've had to leave the state I called home. So I left California 2.0 for America.
I left a year ago. I lived there for 63 years. :'( I loved the sunshine, the beaches, the mountains, the deserts all in close proximity. I enjoyed growing up as a Californian. Good memories! Living there as long as I did involved the death of loved ones. Several family members are buried there. I doubt if I will every get to visit their graves again. I never thought I would move, but bad government ruined California. I couldn't afford living there, and the homeless were taking over in all areas. I tried to help the ones in my neighborhood by finding sources for shelters. I printed up the list of nearby places to get food, shelter and showers. I offered that list to the gentleman who had been sleeping on the side of my property. He tore it up and threw the pieces all over the driveway. The next day he showed up again and this time I ended up calling the cops. They encouraged him to leave, but they couldn't take him away, because without "no trespassing signs" he hadn't broken any laws. So I bought signs and put them all around my property. The next time I called, they did arrest him, but he got out and was back a couple days later. He took a dump on my porch. At first when I saw the mess, I cleaned it up thinking I was cleaning up dog doo, but my neighbor had seen him butt naked doing his dooty so she took a phone picture and showed it to me. Disgusting. I don't miss any of that. I don't miss the gas prices. I don't miss the high property taxes. I don't miss the crazy laws passing as diversity acceptance. My fear is that insanity will find its way out here to Nashville. Ben, as a previous Californian, I welcome you with open arms! We need more people with common sense to speak loudly and consistently until the message is heard and actions are taken to bring sanity back to this nation. As messed up as California is, even if a conservative is voted into office, it will take years to clear up the problems. California leaders have gone too far into the abyss to turn back. :'(

We’re leaving next year for FL and taking our small business with us. After 30 yrs, we see that things are going from bad to worse. Can’t wait to cut my taxes by $50k per yr. and learn the boating lifestyle!
G. Dub - Florida is the first circle of Hell. What you save in taxes the road pirate taxes”tolls” will leach from you, then the literal mosquito’s will drain your life’s blood, and they have homelessness starting in earnest.Good Luck, God be with you and yours.
One piece of advise as a 35 year Fl. Native... watercraft of anykind, even if brand new, are pieces of shit and never work. Everything breaks and is grossly overpriced. The best boat you can ever own is your bestfriends boat.
I moved from super liberal Massachusetts to Florida in 2008 and it's been the greatest decision I've ever made. Beautiful winters, plentiful business, no state income tax, I boat on the intercoastal all year round and it's affordable to live 10 minutes from the ocean. My only recommendation is to not move to any city south of Boca Raton. Other than the taxes, it may as well be California Lite down there. Crime, drug addicts, overpopulation, traffic, snobby dirt bags who think money defines their character. It's disgusting in South Florida.
I’m from Rome and although we have many problems homelessness is not one of them. There’s a few people here and there in the center and 0 in my neighborhood (one of the nicer ones in the city). There are tents close to the train station or under bridges but that’s it. I have no idea about the outskirts however
I just got my tax bill and it has gone up 11 % in one year. I bought the house under Jarvis tax bill which is suppose to limit it to 1 % of the purchase price. Who is going to buy this place when everyone is leaving??
Fun fact: The blue high-tax state of California subsidizes the welfare programs of the red low-tax states like Alabama. We send more money to the federal government than we get back from them unlike the red states that take in more than they contribute. We are keeping several red states, that aren't pulling their own weight, afloat. The state of California is also the 5th largest economy in the world if you could believe it. Jerry Brown created a massive surplus. It's not the failed state that conservatives like to pretend it is. California is literally the home of innovative entrepreneurship in the US. If you love Capitalism and innovation, then you should worship California.
@@sabinaciardi9726 Netherlands here in my neighbourhood there is 1 homeless person who normally stands outside of the local supermarket with a cup for change but he stays in a shelter at night, sure we have high taxes but those taxes are used to ensure that we have stuff like good and safe roads that are kept in a good state unlike our southern neighbours in belgium where the roads do their best to look like the surface of the moon.
Help us take California back from Newsom. To the rest of the true Californians. Fight for this state and vote every Democrat out of office from dog catcher to funeral director, from secretary of state to county clerk, from district supervisor to judge. It's our only chance of survival as a state. Newsom must go on a recall. Steve Garvey as senate to take Feinstein's position or Schiff will.
That’s horrible. After living for over 25 years near Redondo beach I left 5 years ago. I was paying 40 percent taxes. But crime increased roads were never fixed. Homelessness increased. I lost the job. I felt I was targeted. Moved to north Phoenix which is very affordable low taxes, etc.

There are so many people who think all the Californians who are leaving are dangerous. A lot of us have done a lot to try and change the state, but it has become apparent to me that it will not change. There is a sickness here. It feels like its turning into Mordor lol. I, like Ben, grew up here but we have to move to buy a nice house and raise a family in a nice area. I want to be around people who are kind. They don't have to have the same lifestyle as me, but just people who practice logic, retain common sense, search for truth, and have open hearts/minds.

I pay high mortgage and taxes so homeless can live and litter down the street.
I'd move, but don't support liberal, leftist or demorats. They ruin everything including the 90s of Chicago.
Hello friend 👋
God Bless You All; Clair Van Steenwyk
thank you for leaving. You made the prices drop so we could buy in the richest areas
JJ Murphy beautifully put! I could not agree more! Thank you!
Texas will be where Arizona is within 2 elections :(
I don't get why anyone ever desired to live in Cali. It's nice to visit but these problems have been going on over a decade now!
When reality overrides the weather.
@Elijah where are you now
My husband and I were born in SoCal and we’ve lived here our entire lives. High probability that next summer we are selling the house and moving to TX. We can’t take the liberal politics anymore- it’s out of control.
Classic snow flake can't live in a place where people have different opinions to you, have fun in pleasantville
So many people are fleeing Cali to Texas if you rent a U-haul from Texas to Cali it’s free lol. I really hope they don’t ruin the greatest state. Or hopefully most just go to Austin which is already ruined.
@@alexlong9453 It's not the opinions, knobhead. It's the policies that follow those opinions. If you want to live in a place that's on its way to becoming Venezuela, good for you. Isn't it great when you have the choice?
@@chesshooligan1282
Yes because california is going to end up the same as Venezuela where you have hyper inflation, rolling blackouts and widespread corruption, you might need a reality check
Texas is awaome if you want a structured state that's the place. Good income , bigger cheaper homes then shitty California .

You want to live amongst the craziest people of America ? Florida man is one thing to see on UA-cam, another thing in real life
@@enthused7591 any city south of Boca is hell. This man speaks wise words.
If you live in California you pay even more taxes than if you lived in Europe, but have almost none of the benefits
The normal tax in Cali is 37 or 38%? Even in sweden id tax less on a case incone, Lmao. A joke

There are so many people who think all the Californians who are leaving are dangerous.
