I admire her for just doing her job, working on her game, and not getting involved in the nastiness aimed at her.
That said, I wish she hadn't lied-- first, because I don't see why she should compromise her own honesty because of someone else's wrongdoing-- especially when that wrongdoing was a disgusting attack on her, which was given no consequences; and second, because she could, it seems to me, have accomplished the same goal of not talking stink about Carrington, by just saying something like, "Hey, I'm not a mind-reader, so I don't know what other folks' intentions are; all I know is, it hurt, but now I'm fine"-- or something like that.

The bad me is fantasizing the whole Fever team having ambushed Carrington after the game and beat the nastiness out of her. After that warm up, they could pay Chennedy and Swoopes a visit and give them the same kind of behavior modification treatment.

@@annhardink Absolutely! She and Chennedy both have serious problems, imho. I doubt either is the type to recognize it and get help, though. Too bad...for them, and for everyone else.
I think she knows it would be too much of a distraction for the whole playoffs. Plus it would give a reason to hate on her even more if she said the jab to her eye was intentional.
They, and I say they because I fully believe the Sun management coaches included planned this attack, come on it happened in the first 90 seconds, obviously intended to knock her either out of or off her game. They obviously succeeded as she played onemof her worst games this season. But is this kindmof attack really acceptable in a supposedly professional league?

That was intentional what Eyelashes did. Caitlin Clark is just an adult and professional about about certain things.
It’s really sad that women would go to the lengths to that these dirty players go to out of envy because someone is better than them, women should lift each other up, not try to blind each other.
