If 9 Israel soldiers were injured then those 15 Palestinians who were killed were definitely not unarmed civilians. It was a battle, and combatants got killed.

If you are not able to see through the influence that hamas has in the West Bank, then you are underestimating the growth that is already underway. @@UnknownHCHamas at times has been open to to a two-state solution. At the same time many politicians in Israel including the current Netanyahu flatly reject a two-state solution under any circumstance. Further, Israel has also rejected peace proposals.
