OMG! I needed this refresher. I stopped doing them and decided to start back. It's been awhile since I did one. But it all came back to me seeing your video! Thanks
I live in Australia and have been using silk infusion now for about 8 years after every wash. I cant live without it. My hair drinks it up. Its my jar of gold. It makes my hair so smooth and shiny once i straighten it. I havnt tried all these others, might give them a go too. Wish i could buy direct though and not off some weird website as no stores sell their products here.
how long should I wait before washing my hair, swimming, tying my hair, etc? Also how long should I wait before bleaching and dying my hair? Is it ok to follow your video and do it at home? Will my hair burn off if I do it wrongly?
This should straighten your hair if you have loose-medium curls. If your hair is coarse & highly textured then I'll talk to a stylist & see if a relaxer is a better option. This is permanent so it'll last until re-growth.
I dye my hair around 3 years back and chi transformation from salon around 1.5 years back....can i used this procedure again at home by myself using same product u are using in video? Or what u recommended?
I wouldn't recommend doing this by yourself bec. you are dealing with chemicals. I highly suggest that you go to a professional stylist that does this treatment so they can perform a strand test on your hair & see what they can do on the current condition of your hair.
This method of Chi Enviro application is very different than the class that I received by this company! The product stayed in the hair for 24 hours before shampooing. 👀🤔
Hi , really good video , but I have a question . Do you put the same amount of each bottle of phase 1 and phase 2 and mix them together ? Or how? Hope you can answer my question please. Thabk you.
It's different. It's similar to Japanese Straightening treatment. Relaxers are recommended for coarser & kinky hair texture while this one is for loose to medium curls & it's 100% ammonia free & color safe. In fact, you can't have this done if you had previously had a sodium relaxer.
I was watching your "knot test" youtube video. I'm trying to get pin straight hair. I've been struggling for years to achieve this. Before the pandemic, I would go to salons to have professionals permanently straighten my hair once a year. I kept it dry for a whole week after the treatment, and then washed it. After the wash, it was vaguely wavy again and not pin straight. Since the Pandemic started, I've been using salon products on my hair for months now to get it straight (not pin straight) but I just can't seem to get rid of these waves. I've watched youtube videos where the professionals explain their process while they perform straightening treatments on clients and I try to emulate it. I've tried a myriad of times in the past 10 months. The end result immediately after the treatment is over looks great, but again, once I wash my hair, its back to waves again. I've even tried a handful of different products. (Most recently: Shiseido Crystallizing Hair Straightener and Liscio Crystal Cream Straightener). My hair looks great the moment the initial treatment is complete but a week later I wash it and let it air dry and all the waves are back. What am I doing wrong? I've considered a number of factors: -I'm not coating your hair well enough with the straightening cream / you're missing spots in the back. -I'm not leaving the straightener chemicals on for long enough -Maybe the Liscio/Shiseido product I bought on Amazon is a knockoff? After all, some of the product containers say that this should only be sold by a professional/salon and not anywhere else. -Is it possible that I've done too many treatments to the point where my hair is possibly damaged and won't become pin straight (until I grow it out and try again on virgin hair)? -Is it not working because I'm applying treatments to wet hair? I pose this question because I ran a test and put "maintamer" hair straightener on the roots of the bottom most layer of my hair when it was dry and it did a better job of getting the kink out then the permanent hair straightener did. -I've been shampooing my hair lately but not conditioning it a lot because I always assume that I'm about to go do another permanent hair straightening treatments, which only asks that you shampoo your hair but not condition it before the treatment. Another question: -Lets say that I'm not leaving the straightening cream on long enough... Let's pretend thats the issue (the reason I'm not able to achieve pin straight hair)... I've attempted to leave the straightener on for over an hour or two, but it starts to dry out and get hard. When that happens, I've heard you should wet the hair a little bit. How much though? If you put too much water on it, I'm guessing the treatment won't be as effective? Don't get me wrong, these treatments aren't a total wash (no pun intended) because my hair isnt as kinky as it was at the top of the pandemic, but I'm not achieving the exact results I want. When I get impatient, I'll try the thermal straightening process on just a small section of hair that is easily accessible (in front) because it doesn't take as long to do a smaller section, and I can just throw my head in the sink and wash it out without having to do a full blown shower. I would think that doing the full blown Japanese thermal hair straightening treatment on that really small section of hair would warrant the results that I want, but it doesn't. I know you can't see my hair in person, but do you have any clues what I might be doing wrong? Or can you recommend any good products for getting my hair pin straight? I'm well aware of the sides of effects of burning off your hair if you do it wrong. Thanks in advanced for any advice you can offer.
I'm sorry to hear that. Is your hair coarse & highly textured? If so, I would suggest talking to a stylist to assess & see if a relaxer is recommend instead. This type of straightening only works for loose - medium type curls.
Hi there! The CHI system comes in two different versions. The blow out and the permanent straightening treatment. It sounds like you are doing the blow out. That version is meant to reduce frizz but you still keep somewhat of your natural curl pattern. Unlike the other version where it totally changed the texture. I’m a person of color and would like to point out, either version works for our hair. It’s meant to work for anyone regardless of texture. I say this from experience. It’s a much better option to do one of the two CHI treatments, rather than a relaxer, as a relaxer is a very harsh chemical process. Try to Google both of the Chi treatments and make sure you have the right one.
@@thevinyllife5285 Thank you! I'm tired of some of these ignorant stylists always automatically pointing people with highly textured hair to relaxers.🙄
Since this is permanent you do re-touches on the re-growth (should be minimum of 2 inches) so depending on the rate of the natural growth, say between 2-6 months.
Hi ..could you tell me plz how can I care hair after transformation what should apply plz guide because I had done but after 1 month my hair become at the bottom is dry so what should I do plz help n rep mam thnkoo
Hello, if you used this particular straightening system I would use Chi Silk Infusion, not only that it's formulated for this procedure it's also a great at home maintenance to nourish & keep your hair strong & healthy.🙂
Honestly, I don't know how to answer your question. Do you mean applying it on hair that previously had Keratin Treatment?. If so, I highly suggest that you contact Chi customer service bec. It's not stated in the manual.🙂
Hola, disculpa mi pregunta pero no entiendo que es lo que colocas después de secar la primera vez y seccionar el cabello. Cual producto aplica en ese momento? podrías por favor explicarme? o estas aplicando una tintura? no logro entender. Gracias

That's unfortunate & I understand the frustration.
Is it very necessary to buy CHI step 2?
how long should I wait before washing my hair, swimming, tying my hair, etc?
Also how long should I wait before bleaching and dying my hair?
Is it ok to follow your video and do it at home?
Will my hair burn off if I do it wrongly?
Yes please don’t do it by your self, I have a client who did it by her self she came to me and her hair is very very damage mostly on the bottom.
I'd have a professional hairstylist do this procedure. Don't put chemicals in your hair if you don't know exactly what you're doing!.
Why does this not exist any more?!
How straight does this treatment leave your hair and approx how long does it last?
Depends on how curly/coarse your hair is. My keratin lasted 2 month. But I‘m also washing my hair very often because I workout regularly

@@saraha.7843 this is not a keratin treatment. This is Japanese straightening which is permanent
I was reading and there is an express version. What do you do with that one. Can you make a video for the express one too. Thanks.
I have no idea doing the express version. You might want to carefully check the product instructions.

If its natural yes. If it's highlighted yes, you just need to use the specific formula for it.

Yes It's permanent, as stated in the title.😉
