**How to delete CONFIG folder**
- close your game
- press windows + r
- search %localappdata%
- find The Isle > Saved > DELETE Config
- do not write anything, just search it by eye!
all your settings will become default, including the automatic alt bite

I think it sucks and bring toxic behaviour more to the game. I mean so easy to just "Croc in this spot" or run around as pachy and break legs then call them out so others can come and kill them. Hopefully it will only be on some certain private servers
@@Eiderhanne With rules and the right server to enable global chat, everything should be fine.
@@LuminousVoid88 what do you mean by 'the right server'? I think they should just have a few variations. One with only local same species, one with local 'global'(inter/all species), and one with true global. Then people can pick, and the trouble makers will all be in one spot and people can choose to deal with that if they want to or not.
ATLEAST one of each on Officals.
I doubt theyll do it this way, but I think this would be a nearly perfect solution.
I dont care what people do on community servers, but Ive tried a buncha community servers and they ALL SUCK. If an actually good one comes out, maybe Ill play there, but theyre all hot garbage with biased mods and enforcement, and constantly changing nonsense rules that make the game boring and unplayable, AND that are rarely if ever even evenly enforced!
If they made some choices that way for officials, people would be alot happier. Honestly.

Global chat is a really badidea. The whole games is made to be as punishing as possible and yet they add this bs again? It was literally great without global chat.

Not exactly now but Dilo's venom now work with AI

First time I tried hordetest the game was way more beautiful and my fps were the same, tried again today and it's horrible fps, had to set a lot of things down
My fps was about the same, maybe delete the config folder ? If that doesn't fix it , it might be because there are a lot more player corpses laying around than usual because they disabled AI to fix it and that pretty much turns the game into a deathmatch for some reason.
Are these updates live in game? And if so, the unstuck thing do you just type that into your normal text chat?
not in the evrima branch, only in hordetesting branch. And yes, you can type in the normal chat
So when you say this weekend do you mean ai will spawn back again on Monday

this is the update for hordetesting, our testing branch. You can wait the final update for the Evrima branch if you don't want to test anything.
Does anybody know hwo to fix the dx12 issue whenever I try to open the isle evrima it keeps saying I cant launch it

unfortunately the new rocks at north lake have sh!t collision. you fall through them and are stuck. unstuck doesnt work cuz the game registers you as being on the ground
Hey Idk if this is a common problem but when I try to join in a server on the Horde Testing version the game crashes and it says its because the Shaders failed. What should I do??
it started to be a common problem, I don't know the fix for it but you can try to verify files in steam and/or update your GPU drivers and/or delete the config folder
@@KougaArt Lmao now it's worse. I updated my GPU drivers and now when i try to open the game in self it says I can't because of DX12 (directX 12 not supported)

@@recoteck that seems like your CPU, not the GPU. Open task manager, go to performance tab and click GPU
Played evrima yesterday and today. I have the recommended specs and still play with 15 fps and lagspiking all the time, the ping is on 150+ often and I'm an eu player playing on eu...
the recommended specs are for legacy, not for Evrima :/

@@KougaArt if they are going to make a game without a way to optimize with low settings then the game is going to die slowly
@@Zyjami sadly they lack a lot in performance, even people with super strong PCs sometimes get low FPS. The ideal would be a newer GPU such as a 3050, 3060 or 4060. Everything better than them is very safe, but don't get anything below it :/

@@darkdemon943 pretty sure it's the global for all species, but remember this feature will come disabled in private servers, the owners will have to turn it on if they want another chat

you can hold LMB while holding a corpse that fits in your mouth, then shake your mouse to roll the organs out.

My performance only got worse. It went down to 4 fps yesterday 💀 idk what's wrong but It's not an issue with my pc cuz other big games work just fine

Unstuck didn't work for me. I'm currently totally stuck...
you on hordetesting branch right? Cause this command is not available in the normal branch (Evrima). It also seems to have a long cooldown, 90 minutes i guess.

Still looks like shit anytime there's anything but bright uninterrupted sunshine. How do the devs not have 5 mins to log into the actual game and realise how bad water and lighting are. It's a joke at this point.
Nah it looks pretty good when it storms during the day, though that might be because I maxed out all the graphics after getting a new GPU
