When I was like 5 my dad bought this fifa for PS2. As I grew older, I didn't know there was a new fifa every year, so I played fifa 2001 until like fifa 07 or 08. Shitty game, good memories though!

i had this on PC... i remember that i'd read about it on a newspaper when it was released and they printed a picture of it. as soon as i noticed it had official kits i went and asked an aunt of mine for the game for my 14th birthday (which is in December). in fact i had collected the series between 98 and 2003 (which didn't work in my old computer, so i left it aside).
for me as a kid it was pretty cool (having a sixth-gen game at home in 2000 does that to you), what with all those overhead shots from midfield. even looking back at it now and seeing how it looks crap by comparison with later games (and even earlier ones), i'd be willing to give it another whirl - at least after making some edits to fit a particular vision of mine. i mean, at least it's not FIFA 19, right?

Oh its Lauren the Arsenal RB back in the early 00s, full name Laureano Bisan-Etame Mayer.
It was his first season at the Gunners so you can see why they went with the surname.

Apologies if you've already got a video for these - Sensible Soccer is still the best football game ever, but there's a cool spinoff called Cannon Soccer (or possibly Sensible Fodder) where the ball is a grenade which randomly explodes. If think it could make a pretty entertaining vid.

James caragher was Jamie caraghers actual name but he changed it because there was another Jamie so the youth team thought it was easier to say the two Jamie’s and he thought it sounded more like a football name so he changed it to Jamie

To win in this FIFA the secret was to play 4 4 2, pass the ball tho the wingers, cross, press the button to shoot and bam instant bicycle kick.
Also this is the most insulting FIFA for Portugal, no national team, no league, and Figo was a joke when compared to the other stars. I payed 35€ for this back in they day and I was so pissed... I had to make so many teams on the editor
