Yeah I typically tend to program rhythms based on what I personally feel sounds best at the time. But I also used to play the keys so there's probably a bit of rhythmic influence from that thrown in.

interesting the choice of timing in 08:00. I think it is what a keyboardist would do playing 1/16 ghost notes with a funky kind of groove.
