My older cousin was abducted years ago. She was my moms best friend and I can tell it still haunts her not knowing what happened. 60minutes and other places have done stories on her but have found no leads
My younger cousin is in a afterlife professing cult, so is my wannabe chuck norris type of older brother and his thieving afterlife professing girlfriend and her tall 20 something thieving/arson threatening son, who I moved 4 hours away from rather than 3 hours. Please be safe.
What's her name

A hero
She had a really beautiful bright smile.
Id love to sit here, high and mighty, and say "Id never admit guilt to something i didn't do".
But when your stuck in a freezing cold room, uncomfortable, not given drinks or food, intimidating, etc. - after 60 straight hours!? Im not sure what id say or do.
I know I wouldn't speak at all, even innocent except to say "I want a lawyer".
Usually they won't play those multi-day head games if you know your rights, and refuse to say anything other than "I want a lawyer".
Unfortunately, a lot of ppl - like some of those guys - just kept talking, and talking. Smh.
Its sad that innocent ppl can't just outright help police, but the reality is - they just want the case closed, and very few care how it gets closed. Some can sleep well at night knowing the person that admitted guilt is most likely innocent.
Thats why....even if your innocent - ask for a lawyer, and dont say S**T.
How are they going to put a guy away when the dna clearly doesn’t match him? Like obviously he broke down from being interrogated for so long and he cracked under the pressure and told them what they wanted to hear. They should have known that and done the right thing and looked for the real killer. Lazy bastards.
Yup
Those 2 investigators are such a ...😡
A mothers determination knows no bounds
If a Detective says "Look in the flippin mirror bub" he probably doesnt need to be a detective
I don't understand how he was even charged when the DNA did not match. That would be a reasonable doubt and in court you have to be proving guilty without a reasonable doubt. A good detective investigates a confession and should know that a confession is irrelevant and unless when the evidence disputes the person's statements.
I remember this story
This is why I don’t trust cops..
This story is wild..... more than one person wrongfully accuse.... the filmmaker guy...
Thankfully her mom came to her senses and realized they had the wrong person..
their suspects names Hobbs, Tapp & ultimately Dripps is funny
So what’s the name of the song in the beginning
Seems like a forced confession if you ask me
The mom is a wonderful person. I just wanna hug her.
Just post the whole episode. So annoying.
Your mom is gay and has never had heterosexual sex in her life!!
Frightening how often this happens. That’s why you can’t always trust the justice system. There was nothing nothing to pinpoint that this guy did it
You keep someone in there for 60 hours what do you think will happen! This is on the cops..
Chris should have never spoke to police without a lawyer after the first 30 minutes. Why in the earth would he have admitted the things he did. His DNA didn’t even match. Sometimes the police seem more interested in closing a case than making sure they have the right suspect.
I just can’t get my head around someone of sound mind admitting guilt on something they are totally innocent of!
Let the cops interrogate you for 60 hours and see what you say. It happens.
Ohhhh when they break you down you’ll admit to killing your own mother.... sleep deprivation...... it’s common.... which makes the so called justice system stink to high heaven... this is why I don’t trust cops ......
Oh, I always said the same thing too, when I would watch these true crime shows & documentaries, but sadly I was beyond wrong. I am a Psychology major, going into the field of Criminal Psychology, & in one of my classes I learned about what the mind will do to a person when experiencing lack of sleep for days. It is very scary how it just takes over ones mind; the symptoms stack up & increase as the lack of sleep continues. Also, when a person is sleep deprived, every 12 hrs it worsens mentally for he or she. Your appetite even increases as the hours go by with zero sleep. And by the time one reaches that 36 hour mark of zero sleep, hallucinations can even start to occur. When a person is delirious, one is thinking & speaking in a way that is NOT reasonable bc of mental confusion. That sleep deprivation he or she is experiencing will cause some serious disturbance in mental abilities that results in confused thinking and reduced awareness of surroundings. This technique should NOT be used for interrogations, Esp if law enforcement wants the truth!!!
i can't understand it either. i understand that they just want to go home, but how in the world do they think the cops will just let them go home after they confess to murder??
its happened plenty of times. people break down under pressure from sleep deprivation, psychological tactics and hours of non-stop interrogation. Its WELL documented tuhat this happens. They do it because they think if they don’t there is no way out and they won’t stop being interrogated. They cops even lie to them and say they have the evidence its them and that if they don’t confess they will be given death penelty. They do it to make it stop and be able to get out of the room. Its really sad and the cops should have been experienced enough to know it was a false confession, All they had to do was verify stuff only the killed would have known. Like for example ask what she was wearing at the time of the murder? Ask when it happened?(they know because of rigor mortis). Ask what kind of underwear she was wearing. Ask whether or not she was raped anally. Plus they know the DNA isn’t him. This is all on the cops wanting to solve the case and not caring whether they left a killer out on the street to do it again.
The interrogations were so forced and dumb. Lazy detectives.
WHY WHY WHY?
what is the title of the song at the very beginning?
Melanie Gibb was very close with Lori, she knew something was going on, so why didn't she tell the police??
They put the wrong guy behind bars and recently found her actual murderer
DID THE DNA MATCH? NO! Wtf?!
😭😭😭
60 hours of interrogation b.s
Tu Chuy
"I think you better stand up and look in the mirror, bub!"
