Holy shit when they hit that second intersection out of the station that was fucking loud! Awesome response. I caught a video of Light Force 27 Responding in Hollywood. Engine 27 which is the engine in this video, is now switched to Engine 227. I got a video of 227 and Truck 27 responding down Hollywood Blvd. Go check it out
The only thing that moves traffic for real is power call, the Q siren and air horns and I am so that guy that goes screaming down the road blasting the Q and horns. They need more Q.
+will d (MADMAN) LAFD doesn't use powercall, heck they barely started getting real Q's on apparatus not too many years ago. i am sure they used real q's in the 60's, but for a time...q's were off limits. plus LAFD now uses whelen Epsilon, which is good!
No because any person can buy a scanner and have the radio freaquencyand hear the address and nature of the call so its nothing you could hear if you lived there
Really enjoy the ride along videos. Do you have a friend or family ember that works for LAFD? Back in the older days it was easy to get "Ride Alongs", I remember friends hitting certain FDNY stations, and becoming friendly with the guys, and as long as you werent a pain in the ass, or make them look bad, they would let guys run wih them. Lots of cities in the Northeast were like that. I know when i was on the job id let people that i knew well, and were interested in the fire service, id let them ride along. But it seems now its much harder to come by. I dont see many new videos of ride alongs like it was say back in the 80's. I did come across some Detroit FD ride along videos not to long ago. The few i had seen were from Devils night a few years back, i think it was from a Heavy Rescue, and i had seen another video that was from an Engine and then a BC. I like the BC videos much better because you can hear and see things much better. Sorry to bend your ear, just wanting to know if you have done many of these. Thanks.
Patrick Molzen Reno is very easy they actually have the form on the city web page to apply for a ride along, Vegas it is possible along with Clark county and north Las Vegas however I'm not sure how you would organize it but I imagine if you were to call any dept you want to do a ride along with they could tell you how to go about it.
@sdcaljoe The reason they look that way (I assume you're referring to the FDNY sir) is because they are just older trucks. Lots more wear and tear due to weather, scratcher knicks to their sides because of ignorant drivers and things of that sort. They do have nicer looking Marauder II's though.
@1:33 gave me the chills and made me grin ridiculously it was that beasty. Awesome driving by the chuffer too, great video guys.
That's a sweet horn!!! Holy crap!! I love it! Nice rig too ;) Those guys were screaming through them intersections!

Awesome video! I played this alongside “Fighting 17th” from Backdraft, and it fits perfectly!
I LOVE the sound of a siren on a American firetruck! *nerd gasm*
Wtf, you have problems lol
Nerdgasm lmfaooooooo.
Also, sadly, that screaming q siren is not very common in America anymore. At least not where I live, idk about elsewhere.
@@lukem3724 goddamn, a seven year old comment. I forgot all about this.

Even at night the streets of L.A are packed, it's a wonder anyone can drive anywhere in that city day or night. Great video BTW.

The powercall just annoys people like me that watch response videos.
will d u9
They should use the Q more often, sounds awesome! :)
Amazing video :)
Nice siren sound. I dont know why but i just love too hear sirens like these.
All these videos are cool. LAFD is awsome!
Squeezing down the Boulevard of Broken Dreams.
How many people smiled at 1:15 when the sirens started? I did =)
1:36 you mean :D
LAFD sirens are so cool that the sounds is strong that vehicles can easily move aside
wow kudos to the driver for getting through all that traffic
Very nice, by any chance does anyone know how busy 27's is?
The guy driving the Engine has my full respect
awesome video
Nothing like a Q to tell you to move your ass
its videos like this that make me happy I respond in a town and not a city :D
I love the sound of the fire truck!
can u get another ride along
This isn't a Carson siren either, LAFD uses the Motorola 9000 siren.
Just like fireman sam when the paper came out :D
More Ride along videos please, I love them. I wonder if i could do videos ride along with the
local fire dept here ?
No because any person can buy a scanner and have the radio freaquencyand hear the address and nature of the call so its nothing you could hear if you lived there
Really great driving! 👍🏻
Awesome catch Q2b siren air horns
Wow. I wish I drove that truck. Simply brilliant.
Wow look at the traffic. Great driving by the engineer.
@eveningniteshade Where did they make a u-turn?
NEED MORE VIDEO OF THESE KIND !
adore these videos :D
@71Stefan19 Headset to hear and communicate with dispatchers and not to let the siren feedback affect them.
Engine 27 has a good air horn
The best siren LAFD ever had . The majority our now Whelen Espilion and WS 295
Why did they do a 180 U-turn? couldn't they just of parted the traffic much earlier? daft question from the UK!!

Is getting a ride along easy with the reno fd, sparks fd, or las vegas fd easy in nevada?

I think nowadays with terrorism and such like that big city departments like FDNY and LAFD don't want people seeing their protocols and such
Same here^
Those lovely sirens... ♥
Try to get another ride along
@wwwrescue911de Warum durftes/durfest du da mitfahren und dort "wohnen"?
Filmed with a 14fps potato
Federal Signal SmartSiren?
Perfect response video! Lots of traffic, and air horn and jake brake. Some Q2B(coulda been more) and NO POWERCALL.
man is it ever BUSY
This is actually one of the busiest stations in the city.
Acdcfan24

I dont think that was for them. i believe valet for cars
OCD ? This video is really old. Now it's called Metro Fire.
WHAT KIND OF SIREN IS THIS.
Why would you even leave the house with traffic that bad
@IwillnotsayIquit It doesn't look like that at all. All they did was turn left.
RECORDED ON MY BIRTHDAY OMG
Make a hole, coming through!
Music to my ear with the air horn with the q siren blaring away!!!!
@IwillnotsayIquit Well you can probably understand, but no way is he making a u-turn that fast with all that traffic.
more please
Wirklich sehr geiles Video ! ;-))))
Il faudrait que rescus911 puisse filmer aussi de "l'intérieur", des véhicules Français.
No. This is Carson SA380.
Incredible......so many cars on the road with only 1 or maybe 2 persons?I'm glad i'm not living in LA.....
That thing sounds like a train , i like it :)
I love that Motorola siren! Too bad it's not popular on the East Coast.

Kick ass video!!
Music to my ear !
Good horn!
LOVE IT!
im glad that driver passed his evoc
Nice 👍
why is not live in a city explained clear in this video your screwed major disaster your all trapped. respect to the fire fighters though.
Not to be negative here, but could showing the address of the call be a HIPAA violation?
@nzchariboy
What about it? You pinch it off and go...
Awesome
Geiles Video
Awesome :D
Would've Thought THis Was NYC If it Wasn't For The Tittle .
so what if someone is in the toilet taking a shit when the bell rings. That gotta suk
man muss aber auch sagen, dass es in Deutschland nicht soo viele Autos auf einem Fleck gibt
Let the Qs roll and the airhorns blow!!!!!
nice
Do this with LAPD and NYPD!!
I want one of them horns for my prius lmao!
Two sirens at once..
@mariuswwww Lol, funny enough I thought the same thing XD
Nicee : )
