Coming from former viper mini user the similar grip curve is a blessing as I can adapt to it very quickly, and thats where I would "grip" the mouse most of the time
I have the Mini charcoal Black 3 weeks ago, I love it,buts its true the lateral sides curvature at first it weird for fingertip like me,but when you get used its phenomenal. Best value mice by far. With this charcoal its first time I feel dont need grips. Soon avaliable 4k polling rate if someone is interested.
Nice man! Yeah they were talking about using a new coating in the charcoal version, sounded cool. 4K will make a very interesting proposition, depending on the cost
Solid review as always, Gekko. Thanks for the in depth comparison. Currently have the X2 mini Bruce lee edition, and am waiting for the medium x2 (Boardzy) edition, and Atnantis mini to arrive any day now. I don't mind lending you the Boardzy X2 if you want to do a review/comparison and need one, just lmk. Keep up the good work
Great review and intro dude! ❤🔥 Nice intro too, but not as nice as that goatee I love my LAM, great little mouse. I got the black (charcoal) version and the coating is insane. I'm also trying out the x2 Mini Boardzy this week, be good to see how they compare
They both are very curvy mice, but the viper ultimate has more of a drastic widening at the front end of the mouse, whereas the atlantis less of an outward curve at the front and the X2 basically has none. Both the X2 and Atlantis have a much more rear-facing hump that makes them nice for claw grip. If you like the curves on the viper v2, then the atlantis will feel much more familiar to you. If you dislike the curves, the x2 would be a better bet.
Lovin' tha goat reviewer. Yo awesome review man. So it's close to the X2 mini? I'm liking that the Atlantis mini forces your fingers to a set point. Less finger movement. Don't get me wrong, I love my X2 Bruce Lee. Imma get one soon Kyle. Thanks for tha review brother. And glad you got your PC straightened out. I know that sucked. Full view, and thumbs up brother. Hope it helps. Cheers, Fatal😉
Thanks dude 🤙Yeah it is definitely comparable but feels noticeably different in hand. Those subtle differences translate to a fairly perceptible difference. Yeah it was a pain but definitely a fun project to work on! Take it easy man!
Thanks dude! They would both work for any kind of claw grip... For a crazy aggressive claw though I think the atlantis will provide a more stable grip for the pinky and thumb. Really helps lock the mouse in place. Part of why the XM1r shape is so popular for claw. Also if side buttons are a high priority, atlantis has the nicer ones, while X2 has a nicer scroll wheel in my opinion. X2 is definitely more flexible for more grip styles if you aren't claw grip exclusive.
They are super different mice. Atlantis mini has a bit more of a grippy coat, where the Atlantis moves more to a matte PBT-ish texture. Similar switch quality and same sensors. Shape is the biggest factor. The Atlantis is laser focused for claw grip. The Aria is a little more flexible and safe, but not as specifically good for any one grip style. Aria has swappable shells if you like customization, and it also has bluetooth along with 2.4hz wireless, so it's better for general productivity since BT uses less power draw. It's also a better value price-wise. But it is also 10 grams heavier than the Atlantis mini (59g vs 49g). Personally 60 grams is plenty light though. Out of those, pick what your priorities are and that'll help you decide which. Both are excellent picks however, doubt you'll regret picking up either one.
which has a bigger width in the middle section (bottom side) for x2 mini vs the lamzu mini? I currently use lamzu mini with mouse grips though cause without them it feels too narrow. I was thinking of grabbing the x2 mini or medium. The GPro SL is too wide for my liking so somewhere between Lamzu mini with grips and the GPRO SL width is what I'm looking for.
I grip my mouse like lyr1c on apex, a kinda fingertip rear grip, so I grip the mouse far back so I need a mouse with side buttons/scroll wheel I can access 8 have tried gpx sl, viper V2 pro, pulsar xlite V2,, g303, kone air pro, g703. I found the g303 gave me the best air but I didn't find it comfortable and I couldn't access the front side button, and I also liked the viper V2 pro, I could just about access the front side button and aimed well and it felt fairly comfortable. Debating trying the pulsar x2 mini, Atlantis mini, orochi V2, or xtrfy mz1 wireless I think. Any thoughts? Or recommendations
Yo man, been looking for a new small claw grip mouse. I was in love with the xm1r and m712. I can only get xtrfy m8 and atlantis mini in my region, whats the best pick?
Oh heck... Personally? My pick would be the M8. It's not as good a price to value, but you get a well designed, tanky, top performing light mouse that has an actually unique shape design in what really is a kinda stale shape design rut for mice right now. However... If you love the XM1r I would say get the Atlantis Mini 100%. If you liked that you will for sure like this. The M8 will be more of a gamble, but if you end up liking it, it's a potential endgame mouse along with the Atlantis Mini.
Between the two, at the moment I would go with the atlantis mini. Personally I like the more aggressive curves on the side compared to the flatter sides of the X2. Side buttons are a little nicer too, and coating feels better as well. Can't speak to the new X2 premium coating though, just the original version. X2 has a significantly better scroll wheel though... Just wish they had different colorways, the white-blue doesn't jive with my setup at all haha.
Is this mouse recommended for Relaxed palm grip ? I had used the Viper mini and TBH it was the best shape for my grip. currently using the Hyperx pulsefire haste wifi and it's quite ok but not as good as viper mini's shape. so if someone can confirm this please. Hand size is medium 18.5cm by 9cm. Thanks.
As a fellow Viper Mini enjoyer, the Atlantis Mini will work well for you in relaxed claw. However will definitely feel different than the viper mini, but similar enough that your grip will likely land pretty similarly.
I think you were unlucky and received a shitty OG Atlantis. I have the OG and the mini, and the coating / build quality is identical on both (both polar white). Zero flex, creak, or anything like that. I have the Bruce Lee X2. Not a fan, for some reason I keep activating the right mouse button on the X2 with my middle finger inadvertantly, and I wasn't a fan of the finger grooves. Optical switches seem mushy in comparison to the Atlantis and the Sora, also. I like the vids, keep 'em coming.
Yeah it definitely seems that way. I was checking out other reviews to see what they said and I was surprised by how many people were saying they were impressed with the build quality. Still though, when I do my reviews I gotta say it like I sees it. If it affects me, it could affect anyone else. Yeah those subtle shape/design differences can result in big practical differences, and everyone's hands are super unique. Yeah, optical switches can't really catch up to the crisp feeling of real mechanical micro switches (at least yet). I personally like the longevity, latency, but most importantly how easy they are to swap out if they go bad, super easy, barely an inconvenience.
Might have to do a video on that... 🤔 The Atlantis Mini is probably on that list, it isn't in my number one spot though. Gotta put some thought into that one.
Coming from former viper mini user the similar grip curve is a blessing as I can adapt to it very quickly, and thats where I would "grip" the mouse most of the time
Awesome review! My currently main is X2 mini but I just ordered Atlantis mini can't wait to try it! Thank you!
Thanks dude! They’re both pretty dang great, have fun with it!

Mouse is an absolute banger!
Yeah man! Wish the charcoal was available at launch though, would love to see how their updated coating feels
Coming from the viper ultimate v2. I know it has some curves(?) What would you recommend between the atlantis and the x2. Great review btw

What is the grip tape called on the mouse buttons (1 and 2) of your Pulsar X2?
really nice comparison ❤️
Thanks! 🙏
Great review. We will soon see the Atlantis Mini in 4K + Nordic MCU version (:
Adding 4K would be a big step up. Hopefully they get the firmware set up right to take advantage of the Nordic chip, exciting stuff!
Most underrated review
Hey man, loved the vid, but still couldn't decide between the two.... Which one of these mice would you pick for an aggressive claw grip, thanks!

Im confused in choosing between this mouse or the aria XD7, any insights or tips which one should i pick?

What song or beat is that in this video? It’s really sick!

Lamzu Mini or Endgame Xm2we?🤔 Hands are 18.5x10
I tend to lean towards smaller mice, but your hand size can make both work, both are excellent choices
Instasubbed because you played Overwatch for the demo stuff
lol
whats your top 5 mouse Gekko?
Might have to do a video on that... 🤔 The Atlantis Mini is probably on that list, it isn't in my number one spot though. Gotta put some thought into that one.
is that palm grip
You might be able to palm grip this if you have reeeeaaalllyy small hands, otherwise this is definitely a claw grip or fingertip grip mouse
@@GekkoTechGaming i have big hands am buying the medium 1
bought atlantis og v2
@@kollarbone Oh sick, the v2 sounds really good. Haven’t tried it yet but the updated coating is promising
@@GekkoTechGaming + i got wooting pre ordered
I have both. Atlantis is way better than X2
That’s fair. What do you like more about the Atlantis versus the X2?
overpriced in europe.... 120€ while its 70dollars in america
Oof for real? Way overpriced, sorry Salamence
its actually $92 in america.
