The refs from the league championship game would have for sure found a way to call a 5 second turnover on the last possession. Those refs were disgustingly bad
I'm sure they could have...but the touch files where there is no advantage don't need to be called. The ones when the offensive player beats the defender and the call a hand check and the guy is by the defender now he has to try and beat him again. It just seems like every game I go to, there is a parade to the FT line and the best players are sitting on the bench in crunch time.I shouldn't say every but a lot. Call after call just not very fun to watch. I know they don't have a easy job and they're ref'ing freedom of movement.
Laclipps - I'm sorry I don't have time to give any but I remember a couple...and it isn't just this game and I'm not saying this game was officiated poorly. However, during the game I did find myself saying let them play but I'm only looking from the the camera's angle. Again...I know they have a hard job and this is what they're trained to call it. I just feel too many fouls are being called in a lot of games I go to. Not enough advantage dis-advantage. I know the rules are written in black and white but they is some gray area in this. To team playing hard and you have good flow to me no need to call a touch foul but I see this all the time. I'm just venting
But if you've been calling it or call it that way on both ends I'm good with that. More contact I would rather see then the non disadvantage fouls. The good players and strong bigger players play through contact. Nevertheless, the hot stove calls outside the 3 three point line. You know the one when the ref is walking towards the table and looks at the player and says no hands. I'm thinking that is a foul? What do I know I'm just a parent/fan/bystander. Question. in your opinion was it a foul on that last drive?
