This is a longer than normal video, I have tried to include as much information as I can to help others who may want to undertake this conversion project for themselves
This is a great conversion. I've been looking at one of those myself for a conversion but never did try it... yet... I'm a bit behind you other guys and only did a D5 so far. Looking into making a dump truck next. Do have excavators already so.. Thanx for sharing 😀👍👍👍👍
Glad you enjoyed the video, i hope it helps you should you decide to have a go at the grader, i have just started a D5 conversion that will be on the channel soon as ever thank you for viewing 👍
@@116scalercconstructiontruc9 Well i think i might just go ahead and do that. I do need a grader for my little construction site.😛 Also a compactor and some other stuff.. Wish I could make videos for you guys to.. but hey... Thanks for your videos👍👍
You took a cheap toy and turned it in to that. That is so Awesome 👍 about how much it cost you? Will you make a video with it outside pushing dirt or something? 👏👏
Hi Michael yes full conversion as you see in the video, its autumn soon to be winter here in the UK so outside options are limited at the moment but i have plans to have small working sand/gravel yard in the back garden next summer so hopefully then i can get some video footage of all my bruders working outside. Cost wise I would estimate for parts Transmitter and receiver etc etc and this is a guess probably around £200-£250,Thanks for watching and commenting all viewers support and participation is always much appreciated
Hi Chris certainly can help with that All motors for this project were purchased via amazon the motors used are as follows Drive are 6v 25mm short can 150rpm Centre blade lift motors are N20 6v 400rpm with 55mm long xM4 threads Hope this helps and thank you for commenting and viewing the video Ps the front blade raise and lower is a metal gear SG90 servo and the centre blade rotation is the same size servo of the 360 degree rotation type
great work on the build, have you uploaded to thingyverse the stl files yet ? also the driver what did you use ? every one i have found is too big or too small
clint tbh I’ve made them for myself initially ,but I do intend to share files on a public forum like thingiverse at some point in the future, I certainly wouldn’t charge for the stl files
@@116scalercconstructiontruc9 great thats good to hear and wouldnt mind paying for certain things aswell even if you did decide to sell on somewhere like cgtrader or somewhere like that even if just a small amount helps with the hobby and gives that boost to wana make more for other models just an idea love your work have and look forward to doing some in the future
