I've never drawn anything, other than stick figures as a child. A couple of months ago, I stumbled upon your videos. I was captivated by your style. 조맹님, 저는 어릴때부터 혼자 그림을 끄적이기를 좋아했던 사람입니다.
만화/그림이 너무 좋아서 고등학교 때도 일부러 만화과를 찾아서 진학할 정도로 좋아했었는데,
가정 형편이 좋은 편은 아니었어서 학원을 따로 다닐 엄두는 못 냈었어요.
학교에서는 안타깝게도 기초는 알려주지 않았고, 이미 기초가 되어있는 친구들을 끌어가는 형식으로 운영이 되었던지라
저는 기본도 모르는 상태에서 뱁새마냥 따라만 가다가 좌절하고 결국 현재는 다른 길을 살고 있네요~
그냥 그렇게 다 놓고 십수년을 살다가 우연히 조맹님 채널을 알게 되었어요.
쉽게 슥슥 그려내는게 처음엔 신기해서 계속 보다가 뭔가 나도 다시 기본부터 해보고 싶다는 생각에 며칠 전부터 하루에 한 장 씩 얼굴 구도 그려보기 연습을 하고 있습니다.
(아직은 많이 부족해요. 얼굴만 시도해보고 있고~ 몸은 아예 시작도 못했어요 ㅋㅋ)
요즘은 참 좋은 세상이구나 새삼 느껴요. 정말 학원을 다니는게 아니라면 기회조차 얻기 힘들었던 그때와는 다르게, 이렇게 좋은 컨텐츠를 무료로 배울 수 있다니..
가지고 계신 지식을 아낌없이 풀어주셔서 정말 고맙습니다.
부끄러움이 많아서 이런 글을 잘 쓰는 편은 아닌데, 정말 감사해서 몇 줄 적어봐요.
바쁜 현대사회, 적게 일하고 많이 버시길 바라는 최고의 기도(?)를 보냅니다 ^^ ㅋㅋㅋ

저는.. 지혜님보다는 관련 쪽으로 조금더 배웠고(대학교) 공부한것 같지만
어떻게 보면 저도 사회에 나와서 그림관련일을 하지 않고 한동안 그림을 그리지 않았어요.
가끔 동창들이나 선배들을 보면서 나는 이제 더이상 저 길을 가지 못하겠구나 라고 생각했었죠.
하지만 제가 원하는건 그림으로 밥벌어먹고 부자되겠다 이런건 아니였기에
정말 오랜만에 다시금 연필을 들 수 있었답니다.
가끔씩 제 유튜브 첫 영상을 보면서
어떻게 저런 그림을 올릴 용기가 있었지? 하는 생각도 듭니다.
그림 그리고 싶은 마음이 든다면
엄청나게 큰 준비와 돈과 시간이 드는게 아니기때문에
언제든지 시작하실 수 있을거에요!
큰 목표없어도 괜찮아요
어느날 피곤해서 집에 들어왔는데
그냥 좋아보이는 사진하나 보고 끄적이면서
'어라 오늘은 꽤 괜찮게 나왔네~' '아씨 오늘은 왜 잘 안그려지지?'
이렇게 보내면 되는것 뿐이랍니다^^
그러다가 조금더 욕심이 생기면 좀더 기초부터 연습해볼까? 라는 생각으로 공부도 해보시구요 :)
