"From Dusk Till Dawn"
I'm hoping the
sun is going to come
in the end
I want to help
everyone to love
wonder how
Sun is going to come
in the end
Pray your day
in the end
On the border
don’t stop for love
Sun is going to come
Don't
feel
alone
forever
(Heart)
Gone are we
no more
run away
Look at my face
more day after day
then reaching to fame
so instant, so feign
Awake from the dream
to keep on dreaming
The light hits the screen
and dream’s on a break
All is over
never never
All is over
never never
In the end

From someone who can speak first hand how difficult it is to try and decipher this mystery, Well done. My interpretation is a bit different than yours, starting where you go with "Don't, dream, alone" I go with something that is basically the Engish equivilance of exact wording from IDZ.... The first section of the song, you've done very well there. I've never gleamed much of anything except for possibly the phrase "The sun is going down". I don't even include those electronics in my lyrics. I start with the "spoken word" section. (with their IDZ counterpart in paranthesis)
Pain. (IDZ: itami)
Feel. (IDZ: kanjite)
Alone. (IDZ: hitori)
Forever. (IDZ: zutto)
Heart. (IDZ: kokoro)
Blind eye. (IDZ: kizukanai furi)
No more. (IDZ: mou)
Run away. (IDZ: nigenai)
Lift up my face
More Day after Day
Still waiting for faith
So is this the fate
I wake from a dream
To keep and believe
My nightmares extreme
My dreams finally
BREAK
Only forward
Never let up
Only forward
Never let up
In the End
In the End
I may be the only person in the world who thinks it's "In the End" instead of "In the air". "Only Forward - Never let up" is standard Babymetal Mojo but it's easy to see where people hear "All is over, never - never". One thing is for sure, the debate of what these lyrics actually are will never be answered. I need to go back through your lyrics a couple of times because I've never really been happy with the "Still Waiting for faith, So is this the fate" portion of mine.

Thanks, your comment is very insightful! Few realize the magnitude of mystery in this song.
After reflecting, I have updated that section to reflect IDZ and agree with "In the end" - thank you for your input. The new debut will begin in 10 minutes during my local sunset. See you 🤘🏻

I think this is by far the most accurate lyrics for this song ever. Exactly how I heard it the first time around. Cheers mate!! 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻

Rockin! I spent a lot of listening and reflection with various headphones and live performances combined with some forum feedback to present this representation to the community. This puzzle is truly a journey that plays on our senses as much as it does our instincts!

that was amazing dude, I've seen several lyric videos for this song, it's hard to say what the real words are, with the auto-tune and processing and the girls accents, but what I heard myself matched what the words on the screen were for the most part. You are the first to have "In the End" rather than "In The Air", but it's hard to tell. I wish Koba would release it as a single and publish the exact words, great visuals too, dude

My original interpretation was "I only know something's going to come in the air" instead of "I'm hoping the sun is going to come in the end". However, the ending in the video I edited for this reminded me that, amid darkness and despair in the year 20XX, THE SUN ALSO RISES

@BxGxO-Metal You've got a good ear, IMO. I think you're on to something with the whole "sun is going to come, in the end". It makes sense. Dusk Till Dawn, after all. Plus, the Sun has a ton of symbolic and historic meaning in Japan.
BTW: I have a hunch that at least one of the words at around 2:09 is 'fate', though I can't be certain since I have a little bit of tinnitus. It's just that fate is also very typical of Japanese symbolism, so that seems to me more likely (than, for example, fame, which is perhaps something more of a western aspiration/symbol (like 'glory' in the old days)). My guess:
Lift up my face,
more day after day,
Then reaching to fate,
so instant, so faint

@Rob Harwood Yes, I love your input! On one hand, my original thoughts were Su dealing with the pressures of fame and how it can be an addicting, fein double edged sword. On the other hand, like so many other parts within the riddle of this song, I hear everything differently at times and I can definitely understand why you'd say fate/faint. Oddly enough, I've heard Su live singing "So is this the vein? So is this no pain?"

@BxGxO-Metal Hmm, I just had another thought. Instead of 'instant', could it be 'distant'? That would also go with 'faint'. 🤔 😊

That completely blew my mind. I thought these were piano notes and had no idea these were actually lyrics.
Great Job. Thank you for this video.

Glad you enjoyed KxJxC! Technically, the lyrics let alone band score was never published (it's the only one!) so that's why it's such a mystery. This video is only a representation of my interpretation but all that matters is what you believe to be true. I believe that's what Koba wants.

So glad you enjoyed!!
another level of the song very like it!!!!!!!!
I found your link in the comment section of Trash Talkers reaction and came here to check this out. Very good job. I loved the visuals. I saved to my 'watch later'
That trash talkers reaction was right up there. One of the best. The looks on their faces of pure joy and amazement. Priceless.
@@yakidin63 They said it was the best BABYMETAL song they've ever heard and in both their top 10 songs they've ever reacted to! I can't say I blame them
i saw the link on Metal Maffia reaction, and it goes to my Babymetal playlist with no doubt \m/
Brilliant ladies great band 🌹🌹🌹🇬🇧🤟🤟🤟
この歌唱力には脱帽ですね😅
❌ in the end
⭕️ in the air
Hi Gootan, Check out 1:49 during this live performance ua-cam.com/video/y4wo7PHfjp0/v-deo.html where Su-METAL appears to sharply close her mouth into an "n" instead of a more open "r". It is more difficult to tell in the studio recording because there is a strong artificial fade out. Also, think about the positive messages of BABYMETAL and how they just might tell someone who is going through a difficult life struggle that the "sun is going to come in the end" whereas "sun is going to come in the air" would sound more strange in conversation. Finally, since BABYMETAL frequently sings about "the end/afterlife" it's fair to believe they would use similar vocabulary here. Of course, OTFGK 🦊 I do however plan to re-upload soon to correct "Lift up my face" to "Look at my face"
It's easier to hear it as "en" (end). As an experienced singer myself, most lyricists will always avoid any word that rhymes with air (let alone the word itself) because *cue country accent* "ay-errrr" is a common cardinal sin in professional singing that's difficult to avoid.
Almost all of these lyrics are wrong
