Yes, the Nikon D7500 is an excellent camera to begin wildlife photography. However, in order to achieve optimal results, it is recommended to invest in a 200-500mm lens as well.
As per you budget you can buy the following cameras for wildlife & landscape photography..... Nikon D7500, Nikon D780, Nikon D 850, Nikon D5600, Nikon D6, Nikon Z8, Nikon Z6Ii, Nikon Z9
The Canon EOS M50 is a great camera for nature, bird, and wildlife photography. It features a 24MP sensor, 10 frames per second burst rate, continuous autofocus, and exceptional video capabilities. Its lightweight and compact design makes it easy to take on safari or into the countryside. However, some aspects could be improved for serious wildlife stills photography. The M50’s size and build quality can make it feel delicate when attached to larger lenses. It’s not weather-sealed, so it won’t handle excessive rain or dust well. The autofocus is good for large animals but not reliable for fast-moving small subjects, and it fills the buffer quickly. * Poor autofocus for moving subjects (vs. DSLR) * RAW Buffer fills in 1 second * Feels fragile and small in hand * Very Slow AF point Movement with buttons * Weather Sealing inadequate * Short battery life * Eye-AF works mainly on humans (only sometimes animals)
Thank you for your comment and question! Yes, the Canon M50 Mark II is indeed a fantastic camera for beginners in wildlife photography. It offers a wide range of features and capabilities that will help you capture stunning wildlife shots. Happy shooting!
The Nikon D780 is a replacement for the D750, one of the most well-rounded DSLRs ever made. It's still built around a 24MP sensor and 51-point AF system. NIKON D780 Pros:- 1. Smaller / Lighter Body 2. Articulating Touch Screen 3. Autofocus Performance - It’s Fast 4. Dual UHS SD slots 5. Incredible Battery Life 6. Speed Improvement Over D750 NIKON D780 Cons:- 1. The D750 Is Still One Of The Best DSLRs Ever Made 2. No Mirrorless Z-Mount Lenses 3. No Battery Grip 4. Physical & Control Layout Changes 5. Wireless Interface Still Cumbersome Nikon D780 Final Thoughts:- Nothing (with a mirror) can compete with the D780. Maybe a D500 might be more attractive if you shoot mostly telephoto sports or wildlife, but that’s about it. If you like optical viewfinders and cameras that qualify for, “Jack of all trades, master of…quite a few, actually!” …then you should get the D780. Don’t listen to anyone who generically dismisses DSLRs and optical viewfinders as either outdated or inferior technology. Don’t listen to anyone who says that mirrorless is the ONLY way to go. The D780 proves that you can still have plenty of modern, truly useful features while offering the DSLR experience you probably already know and love.
It's a very good camera for wildlife, but not in the top 5 but obviously in the top 10 lists. This is my personal opinion, it can vary from person to person.
@@wildlifetrail from your list, i have used D850 and a9ii for years and R6 for short periods. There is no denying to the fact that D850 has great image quality. But its not the best wildlife camera when compared to the current offerings from these makers. Have used Canon R3, R5, Sony A1 and Nikon Z9 and all of these are way better wildlife cameras than D850.
Nikon D6 has a 21.0 MP Full structure (35.9 x 23.9 mm) size CMOS sensor and also includes Expeed 6 processor. On the other hand, D850 has a 46.0 MP Full Frame (35.9 x 23.9 mm) sized BSI-CMOS sensor that includes Expeed 5 processor. Nikon D850's sensing unit gives 25MP more than Nikon D6's sensor, which gives a substantial benefit in reality. You can publish your photos bigger or plant much more easily. Max sensing unit resolution is not a factor of resolving power. Elements such as the optical components, reduced pass filter, pixel size, and sensing unit technology likewise impact the last resolution of the recorded picture.with less megapixels and same sensor size,D6 is double the price as compared to D850, it is only due to higher ISO and 14fps not a value for the money. This is my personal opinion, it's very person to person.
