I can't even imagine how many times this book was repped. Those stick heights are so uniform.
perfect zones.
Those zones.. flawless.
Best Performance (video, no less) I've seen of this drumline this summer! Very impressive!
@MrFlyDrums Pioneer did that in 1998. It had a cool stereo sound to it. Too bad it didn't catch on, I thought it was cool.
this book is very well written.
Ok, there is another video of the cadets before this show and they have 4 demon and 4 angel snares, and here they only have 3 angels... WTF?!
This is by far my favorite Colin McNutt book in a long time! Good to see him filling the shoes of Tom Aungst, but with his own style.
@promarkqaz123 that's kenny on the outisde for you lol pretty freakin good
Especially considering this is one of the best bass lines in DCI
@MrFlyDrums check out Rhythm X 2011. Four different snare heads.
the snares use white max or falams ll remo heads?
ohhhhhh I thought you meant the whole corps
Great writing.. reminds me of Star of Indiana '93
....it did :p
great diminuendo at 1:40 from the quads
it be even sicker if the different sections had different sound qualities (i.e. kevlar vs mylar / evans CC vs Remo Pstripes)
omg. cant wait til next year.
@MrFlyDrums that would be cool, but it wouldn't quite work out when they come together as one section...
especially in a corps like the Cadets.
2:26! Get AT IT bass drums! Holy Bass!
1:18 waaaaaaoooooohhhhhhh
How did THiS not beat blue devils?!?!?
I was at this show and It was amazing, I nearly fell out of my seat when they chucked the bari on to the field when the demons entered
1:19 "ahhhh!!" haha
Classic at the end, Go Garfield!!! Love it..
What place in drums?
Roman Lanzas 3rd
@@ElementalJerk wait what the hell who got second and first
cavies 1st BD 2nd
*Guys screams at **1:19* me too dude, me too
cooped-up 2020, DCI summer - dusted -- but this....THIS! Thank you 2011 Cadets!
@bruce08111 im not try to offended anyone but snares and tenors especially are more interesting to watch :)
Probably because tenors and snares are the more visual based instruments in a drumline. Don't get me wrong, basses are just as, if not more important, they just aren't as interesting to watch.
"Pebble"
its all about the snare glory boys. lol
they lost a drummer mid season
And yet for some reason still had 6 basses
like the drumline. Cavaliers first. BD 2nd. Cadets 3rd
That's a good take all 3 are really consistent
I freaking lost it at 1:19 with the guy screaming in the background.
"WAGHHHHhhHH!!!!" 1:19
1:21-1:22 background. Best.
At any given moment the snares/tenors are much more likely to be playing something..bass drums are not fun to watch as you can only see one hand also
No offence but it's funny how 3/4 of tenors are taller than all the others. But realllllllly good.=]]]
