Funny story: I entered this amv to a convention called San Japan in hopes of winning a place in the Drama category. Thing is, I recieved an email saying I've been disqualified due to 'television watermarks' and for using 'improper sources' and I'm like ??? it'd be great for you to explain to me what I did wrong.
so here's a big fuck you to the AMV League for disqualifying me on something I slaved my ass over.
Other than that, and on a positive note, I'm so proud of myself for finishing this video and being able to relive my experience with Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso again. This anime meant so much to me and I encourage everyone to check it out.
Did you ever hear the tragedy of Kaori Miyazono? I thought not. It's not story most anime fans like to talk about. It's known as Your Lie In April. Kaori Miyazono was a violinist so talented and so free, she could play the music with sincerity in such a way as to inspire a bereft had-been pianist to play again after two years. She became so free in all aspects of her life, the only thing she was afraid of was losing her life which, eventually, of course, she did. Unfortunately, she had a terminal illness that the pianist had inspired her to fight so that they might play together again and so she decided to have a surgery in an attempt to prolong her life even a little while longer but ended up dying due to surgical complications. Ironic. She was inspired to live but died from the very thing that could have saved her.

Kaori's illness is bone marrow failure/Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS)
According to the ALS association, the average life expectancy of someone with ALS is 2-5 years after diagnosis. About 50% die within 3 years, 20% live for more than 5 years, 10% more than 10 years, and 5% more than 20 years. When Stephen Hawking was diagnosed at age 21 he was told he could expect to live another 2 years. That was over 50 years ago.

When I first started watching The lie in April , I thought it would be the same as every other anime, action filled with sadness just thrown in, but it was so beautiful and I regret doubting it, I wish I watched it sooner it was so emotional and I think really reached the hearts of every viewer, just like they wanted it to, it really showed us that all good things must come to an end but every cloud has a silver lining. Thank you for showing everyone this... And well done on this video.
Well I doubted if i'm gonna watch it or not because I know if I watch it I'm gonna cry for weeks....still watched it though and I don't regret it😂

The part where it said "ive seen this room and Ive walked this floor, I used to live alone before I knew you." I cried.
It fits so well and that's what hurts the most. Hearing the song connect with the visuals and they're both painful.
The last three episodes of this I was crying, balling my eyes out, it was so beautiful

What makes this video perfect is the piano; it makes it truly feel like Kousei is singing it while playing.

The sad thing is kaori's hair was so bright beautiful yellow but pas the time the color got darker and faded...thill the end that the color was bright yellow again I hope she will play in heaven for the people their..

I won't lie. I found this AMV on FACEBOOK, It was so good that I wanted to check it and know more about it, so searched for the name (what's this thing called). That's when my life changed I found about ANIME and everything related to anime. Seriously A salute to you man. This song made me so into anime and now I watch all kinds of anime.
