Price isn't the issue, as I agree they could have easily charged way more. But, even for VR 60 player lobbies full is ambitious. Eventually, they'll add duos/solos and other game modes splitting up the player's base. It's a live service game with in-app purchases, and they are here to make money. A method like how you have the loot box style packs, blueprints, attachments, and skins screams f2p to me at least. I'll grind it out having to never spend a dime, but often the live service beast needs a lot of cash to maintain it.
@@sixtacos i dont think player base is gonna be a problem my dude. i havent waited more then 90 seconds in a lobby to get into the game. every lobby you load into has 55+ players already in it. also, you can currently enter the match solo or duo, just leave "fill teammates" unchecked. grind, dont grind, id still have paid 60$.
Contractors (both regular and showdown) is one of the biggest reasons I'm getting a Quest 3. There are many vr games I'm looking forward to playing since I've never played vr but the first 3 I'm buying are Contractors(both of them), Ghosts of Tabor and Asgard’s Wrath 2(technically free since it'll come with the quest)
@@Von.Juan. I'm expecting that, hopefully I don't, I haven't had motion sickness before and I've been on boats and jet skis on the ocean. But I have a few other games I'll ease my self in with if I start to feel it

Have fun getting into VR! Take it slow, and the games you mention are intense. I will say that regardless of anything you've done IRL you will get a week or two where you'll feel out of sync with your entire body. It will be trippy, but it's something that I wish I could experience again. It makes you feel like you're in a simulation.
@@sixtacos thanks for the heads up. Since the quest 3 comes with quest+ I'll definitely look at some of the more beginner friendly titles and have been watching some videos on which ones will be good to start with. Those are just the ones I'll be paying for or are looking forward to the most, so far
You can go anywhere in the lobby from the menu, you don't need to walk if you don't want to. But the fact that you can do either is a bonus that they didn't have to do.
I have few questions...how long is the matchmaking time? I am a casual, if you compare the difficulty with pop:one, which is easy for me ,how harder it is? is this game full of tryhards. will steam copy(it costs 8usd because regional price, meta store doesn't have them) +quest 2 wired link would look better than quest 2 native?
This game is the best part of all games that have attempted the same. I play with my son, and once you get your settings right, its amazing! There's no gear fear either (for my taborite brethren) lol Great video!!! I have a msi duke 1080 O.C. playing on a sabertooth x79 (13 yr old) mobo, i7 3930k, 32gb gskill ripjaws ddr3, and I play on high textures and ultra anti-aliasing with no issues at all!
Please answer do i really get the pc vr Version, the last time i checked there wasnt anything hinting on either crossplay or rift version, only quest1/2/pro, if so i must cancel my steam urchase and buy the meta Version instead
Yes, the info is on Discord confirming that it's cross-buy. Its just as of right now they delayed in order to implement EAC. Save yourself some money bro.
@@sixtacos yeah , i gonna, if i wasnt too exited to read...... i would have found that out by checking the obvious part in your video, which now i was capable of doing. Thanks anyway and i have 20 min of testing of my steam version left before refunding it for the meta version swap
Yeah and the pop in is terrible even on high end PCVR. I was told it was intentional to even the playing field as the game is cross play. There is still fun to be had however, even if it looks like a hot mess.
Free to play!? the games only $20. id have paid $60. the best VR multiplayer shooter game out there imo. its fun as hell.
Lfg!

Lol literally never over a minute for me even at 2am
I love love this game and the lobbies whenever i play are fast and full!!
I wish the PCVR version looked better - but I guess the stable frame rate will do

Ease your way in, if you’ve never played VR you’ll have to deal with some motion sickness until you get used to it

Nice to see a quest 2 side by side, as that has the higher player base
Quest 2 still needs love

I just don't see why we couldn't access those features from the menu alone without teleporting.

4:13 looks like an amazing battle
Yah it was a great game, and my team ended up winning later on a millisecond of a cash steal
that’s the finals btw
It's not APPLICATION spacewarp it's ASYNCHRONOUS SPACEWARP.
Its Quest footage btw
@@sixtacos Oh I only have a CV1, if there's an option called "application spacewarp" then I think it's short for Application-specific async spacewarp
The colour tone is so dull, even more so on Q3, hopefully they can make it more vivid, nice review
weird standalone problem, right.
I don’t find it dull, maybe if you compare the Color scheme pop1 but that’s a cartoon
@@brandoboyer731 you're probably right , I'm too used to that cartoonish art style synonymous with the early gen Quest games
They just have to fix the motion sickness like population one with the vignetting

That is because it is Quest textures and LOD.
Everyone needs to get quest games optimizer. It makes the game 20/20 sharp.
I often use QGO, but it's better to judge the game based on what the devs packaged themselves
Use quest game optimizer and it will look near pc vr. day and night
How do you

PCVR is always going to win, but they'll eventually make it crossbuy so you get the best of both worlds.

Is there left handed controls
Ofcourse
nah this be PUBG in VR none of that CoD
Have you even played war zone? This is CoD Warzone, not pubg.
Este juego sera free to play en poco tiempo seguro
Le daría alrededor de un año hasta que desaparezca f2p
