Omg you are hilarious! You had me at little mermaid 😂 thanks! Love it!
Thanks for showing use of pen..it
did a great job correcting.
Thanks so much for watching 😊
good job! I love foiling with stencils. so much bling.
Thanks friend
I love foiling too but it can have some hurdles in getting good results, but really love the effects! These came out great, I love that purple shimmer😍. Glad to know I’m not the only impatient crafter out there😊. Thanks for sharing, I always enjoy your videos🤗🙏
I sure appreciate you watching. Definitely not alone there lol. Thanks 😊
Thanks for sharing this video. I am new to foiling, so it was good information for me.
I'm so pleased that you found it helpful!!
Great comparison on the methods!
Thanks MK! So glad you liked it 😊
I hqve this gel, but haven't tried it yet...I guess I should! That purple is super pretty! 💜
Thanks so much for checking it out Marie! Yea you definitely should bust it out! Have fun crafting!
Love these, thank you! xxx💖💖💖
Thanks for watching!
Gorgeous cards, but purple is my favourite colour, so I'm a bit biased. Great demo, so nice to see someone showing the real difficulties and problems the rest of us face rather then the huge crafting 'influencers' who don't or if they do, it's the tiniest little booboo.
Thank you so much for that awesome feedback. I will definitely keep showing my mistakes because they are a plenty lol. I appreciate you watching.
I have some if this and have been meaning to try it. Thanks for the nudge. Looks great. Don't forget the Press n seal lol. Saves ya so much product.
Glad you liked it, thanks for watching! I agree on the press n seal!
If you run it through the laminator you don't have to wait for it to dry, you can run it through as soon as you spread it on your paper.
Really? Thanks. Won't that mush down the design?
Thanks new subscriber!
Hi and welcome! So glad you found me. Thanks for watching
I tend to use my die cutting machine just because I don't like to wait for my laminator to heat up. Especially if I'm only doing 1 or 2 panels. But I can really see how worth it is to use that laminator. Great cards!
Thanks friend! I was surprised by how different the end result was. I appreciate you watching!!
Love your cards! H&H has great foil, & since I'm addicted to purple, that one is a particular favorite! I love foiling. I've finally gotten socked up on foil through H&H & Crafty Critta in Australia, & now I'm saving for my toner printer. If you get spotty results foiling, sometimes it's the laminator. A minc is definitely better, but maybe not worth the investment since you don't foil often.
Yea I have been on the fence for sure about that to determine if it's worth it. Thanks so much for watching. I appreciate it.
@@amyswares probably only if you don't foil much because of iffy results. But if it's not something you're really interested in, then probably not. But another thing I use it for is flattening really warped backgrounds, especially on watercolor paper.
Thanks ☺️
Lovely🇦🇺❤️
Thanks for watching❤️
I agree. I like the laminator results better, as well. Very pretty cards. I wonder if Pixie Spray, to hold down the stencil, would prevent some of the smearing under the stencil?
Thanks so much, I really was surprised at the difference. I'm glad you agree. I will probably only use that method from now on. I haven't tried it with pixie spray because I heard my friend (who foils a ton) say that it will actually mess it up if you use a stencil with pixie spray. I think the residual pixie spray will cause the foil to stick to it. Thanks so much for watching Sherri! I appreciate it.
@@amyswares Oh! Good point on the Pixie Spray. That makes sense. I have the spray but have not used it yet.
Oh it's wonderful and so great for ink blending with delicate stencils. Such a great product.
Soooo cool! I’m just not getting into foiling, and doing wanna buy the glimmer heat thing since I’m not that into foiling die but I have a lot of stencils! We’re you using just a regular laminator? If so does it matter if you run in through hot or cold setting for the foil to transfer? Thank you ☺️
Thanks so much. Yes it was reg laminator with heat. I don't know of any laminators with cold settings so I can't speak to that. I appreciate you watching
I cant decide if i want to buy this gel, is it easy to clean up off the stencil or whatever else it gets on? It just seems messy and finicky so i can't decide.
I haven't had issues getting it off the stencil but I get it washed off pretty quickly after I apply it so it doesn't dry on the stencil.
My gel seeps underneath the stencil :(
I'm sorry to hear that. It can be hard to get things perfect working with this sort of medium. As you probably saw mine had a bit that got under in some spots too. Thanks for watching!
