Hello people and welcome to Vienna in the 6th district called Mariahilf.
I originally wanted to be here at Christmas and film Mariahilfer Straße in the Christmas lights, but unfortunately I didn't have time.
Mariahilf is a trendy district in Vienna. It is in the center, it offers Mariahilfer Straße as the most popular shopping street with a large pedestrian zone. But it also has the popular Haus des Meeres and the Vienna Naschmarkt, which is also very popular.
There are also many trendy restaurants, bars and nice coffee houses in Mariahilf as well as some theaters.
Around 32,000 people live in Mariahilf and the district offers real Viennese flair in every respect.
With that in mind, good entertainment from Vienna. :)

Richtig schade um die Mahü, die Bauruine wird wohl für längere Zeit ein Mahnmal bleiben. Auch wenn das Ganze fertiggestellt worden wäre, habe ich mich gefragt, wer in einem solchen Luxuskaufhaus der KaDeWe-Gruppe denn auf der Mahü einkaufen sollte. Die Mahü ist kein Graben oder Kohlmarkt, ganz andere Kundschaft, ein KaDeWe wäre da absolut fehl am Platz...

@@anbaxRichtig blöd gelaufen. In Stuttgart gibt es jetzt auch ein Riesen-Benko-Loch mitten in der Fussgängerzone im Zentrum der Königstrasse. Das Sportarenagebäude wurde 3 Monate vor der Signa-Pleite abgerissen, der Bürgermeister hat vorher geschworen, dass kein Abbruch stattfindet, wenn nicht sichergestellt wird, dass da auch zügig gebaut wird… Jetzt klafft da ein Loch, das es locker mit dem Leiner-Gebäude aufnehmen kann, Zukunft genauso ungewiss…
