Might be me but I don’t think Terry’s disadvantage is that bad. Yes it’s linear but the recovery tools make the linear line harder to challenge unless your certain characters in which case you gotta change arc of your up b recovery to not get spiked. Thank you for coming to my ted talk
The Terry player can learn how to mix up his recovery better. Terry's off-stage disadvantage is pretty bad and due to the fact that his specials don't snap the ledge right away, it can become easy to time his up-b or back-b right before they snap the ledge but he can still mix up the timing of when he will go for those options. For example, he can use neutral-b at some point during the recovery to stall when he is out in the air.
