Imo the added rainbow and the rain ruined the beautiful photos to me. Otherwise I like the edits
lol kinda funny cause I dont really ever do that in my feed but I thought people might wanna know how to do it!
Gotta say I'm not big fan of these edits, seems over saturated, but it's all personal preference at the end.
I dunno if my monitor is not calibrated or yours. Those edits are quite too much.
I think his edits have always been....well, not good.

The under water edits are just what I was looking for, and colour separation between the sand and water always baffled me until today, so thank you so much for teaching us how to edit a photo like this 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
Not gonna lie, the underwater edit was dope.
That blue sky in the first image completely ruins it. You did literally the oposite of what you were saying and made it waayyyy too blown out. You should have muted the sky and boosted the exposure slightly on the balloon to make it pop. But overall I learnt a lot, thanks!
Not every picture needs to be warm and orange. 😬

I’m a UAV major and a huge part of getting a job is having photography skills. I’ve been watching Sawyer for YEARS, I’d say 7-8, but I fell away somewhere in between then and now as i grew up. Now I find it crazy that his content is geared precisely towards me and my future: a drone operator and photographer. Thank you for always having a video to answer all my questions, it helps me more than you’ll ever know

The balloon shot was actually sick, all it needed was a crop
Literally needed nothing doing to it... A teeny bit of contrast maybe.. But as soon as I saw that I was like dayum no editing needed here and yet he went ahead and fucked it..

Hello Sawyer! I just want to say thank you for being very simply detailed when you're explaining how to edit. I'm middle aged and find it hard to understand most of what I see in UA-cam for editing. I find this video to have a lot of awesome lessons. I love that Sawyer shows us how to make a photo look like he wants. It encourages me to start using RAW because I have seen 10's of thousands of images that we always thought were not recoverable.
Since I run a SCUBA diving business for tourists, we get that a lot.

this was likely, one of the MOST helpful videos i have ever seen!
I liked the picture of the girl better before the edit. It looked like it was an orange circle around her. You should've used selective instead.

I like the balloon, neon, and the sting ray. Although the sky in the balloon photo looks too saturated for my taste. The neon was nice and will probably test it out since I like low light street shots. But the sting ray was dope! Thanks for the tips!

Hey Sawyer! I was on the live feed on instagram :) I just moved to O'ahu (2 weeks ago) I'll be here for a year volunteering through AmeriCorps. I am so excited to start exploring the island taking photographs. I would also love to try some underwater photography at some point this year. Let's go on a photography adventure. On photograph no:4 I felt like there was little too much blue in waterfall , but comparing this to your other edits , it's even not noticeable , I am a big fan of your coloring sense, Man. ✌🏻

Now to me, this seems like a perfect photo even before the edits, Although this photographer CLEARLY knows what he's doing. and im nowhere In this person's Leauge. It Comes off the like they took a great photo darkened it, and then re-edited for our view pleasure. instead of finding an almost unusable image and saving it. I can screenshot this Video and there's PLENTY of data to get a decent photo. id really like to see what he does with the throwaways.

I have a Sony a6000 and just want to do some quick edits on lightroom mobile. Do you have any explanation for why the imported raw images have a ton or noise/grain while the raw photos in my gallery have almost none?
