    I watched your video yesterday. I was so inspired I went to the grocery store and bought two pork loins. They were $1.78 a pound. Brought them home and sliced them up. I now have 54 boneless chops in my freezer for $31.00 my husband loves chops but I mever buy them. But I did today thanks to you! BTW I love making freezer meals. Just made 18 meals today for the freezer and more will be done Sunday. God bless. Love all your videos!

    I always pass up the sale on the whole loins as it's just the two of us and we're not big on pork roast either. After seeing those gorgeous chops I won't pass them up again. Thanks so much for sharing all your great recipes.

    You need to show us at the end of the videos how you put the burritos in the air fryer and fix them for how many minutes if you thaw them first etc. My son works away and uses his air fryer to fix his meals and would love to tell him how long to fix them and if they need to be thawed first or what. ❤ Love your videos

    Never heard of adding vinegar to rice. Does anyone know how that makes the rice better?

    • @LittleVillageHomestead
      @LittleVillageHomestead  19 днів тому +1

      Adding a small amount of vinegar to rice, while cooking, helps to prevent the rice grains from sticking together by breaking down the starches on the rice's surface, resulting in a fluffier, less sticky texture

    Do you have the opportunity to purchase directly from farms? You'd save money and support a desperate farmer that way. I've been watching health videos and found out that animal fats are much healthier for us than seed oils. Seed oils cause inflammation.

    • @dianehall5345
      @dianehall5345 19 днів тому +1

      @longarmsupplies - Hello from our New Hampshire working farm- Yes there are alternatives, depending on your situation. We raise grass fed beef for breeding stock, but occasionally put a side of beef in the freezer. I do not use seed oils. I am also post -surgical gall bladder and need to have a special diet for pancreas health. So no red meat or pork for me, however my husband and his brother can work off the more fat dense meats. I'm not allowed corn products so I have to modify some of Raneas' recipes and they work fine. I love 99% fat free ground turkey meat balls! I enjoy organic flour tortillas. have you ever read the ingredients on the grocery store ones? You can make them yourself or try Staceys. Eating for your personal taste or diet is not as hard as it may sound. I enjoy so many foods that are allowed for my recovery, including many of Renea's delicious recipes. Happy New Year! ~ Diane

      We do buy as much beef as we can from our local farmer. We usually buy a quarter at a time for 4.00 a pound and it is wonderful meat.
