Somehow the cameraman managed to film the whole thing without including Martin Barre. During the guitar solo we saw the audience, Anderson who wasn't playing and the rest of the band who weren't soloing. A trio with an invisible guitarist.
Hello Claire . . . . there is a wonderful flute solo at the 1:50 mark in the Captain and Tennille's 1979 HD Remastered version of their song "Do That One More Time" on youtube . . . and the flute is present in the backing of rest of Toni Tennille's terrific singing . . . . i can't recommend highly enough !!!!! . . . . . Wow what a choice. I am familiar with this. My first Tull concert was the following month after this concert as a teenage schoolboy at Leicester De Montfort Hall. Recommend the Tull dvd of this concert which has exerts of their practise before the evening event. Tull rose to higher levels after IOW 70 where Hendrix was playing who they supported 1969 in Norway. For an overview of the whole festival which also featured the Who playing Tommy I recommend the IOW DVD which has a vast selection of artists including ELP. This was one of the first concerts that featured John Evan who joined Tull in 1970 and is featured on the 3rd album. After the UK tour Tull went to USA supporting Led Zeppelin and Yes also supported Tull. Great times. My 1970 review at Leicester is published in Richard Houghton's book : Jethro Tull ' Lend me your Ears' a fan History.' featuring a 70s photo of yours. 😎💙🇬🇧👍 truly!
