Changmin wrote the lyrics for Devil. He said it was about the moments at night, when you're about to sleep but your brain reminds you of your regrets. Yes...Max is SM royalty...2nd gen, along with his partner Yunho, TVXQ's superb duo, after the original TVXQ split up. Max and Yunho still got them vocals, they in their 30s, but in their prime...mentors to Exo at SM...Yunho also has his own solo work. I wish they'd come together again. One day check out TVXQ's "Spellbound", a great song and mv by the duo.💙🌺

There's a vocal coach/producer at SM named Yoo Young-Jin, and it sounds like he also coached Max Changmin. That's Yoo Young-Jin's vocal style.
