EP 6 THE GOOD & THE BAD│ Camper trailer walk-thru 2022 MDC Jackson Forward Fold

We've been on the road, setting this camper up pretty much every day, and thought we would do a quick run through of the 2022 MDC Jackson FF camper.

So what I've seen somewhere I dunno is, a sheet of aluminum that folds up off the stove top, same size as the stove, with two aluminum 'legs', panels that fold out either side off the back panel, to fully block the wind. And that crappy little table...look at the table that folds off the stove sinktop on 'Fire to Fork's Cub Frontier...much nicer. Someone else noted that a soft-sided shower cubicle sucks in the wind. You could build one out of 12mm foil-faced foam sheets, store it on the forward deck while traveling. Just my advice. Happy trails.

A comment about how the canvas performs in heavy rain would have been good, plus a comment regarding canvas condensation in cold weather.

Hi. We have had this camper over a year now and been in some heavy rainfalls. One of which was 147m over night and only had 1 tiny leak the size of a 50c piece. However if you are leaning against the canvas in the lounge area where the back cushions meet the canvas, you may get some wicking. We have had no issues with condensation over cold nights at all. If the canvas has gathered moisture from a cold night we try leave it set up until the sun comes out. It actually dries of rather quickly. In instances where we have had to pack up a wet camper, we have layed a KINGS gazebo awning wall over the bed and it has held up perfectly fine until we got to our destination at the other end and set camper back up again. If you're headed home and the camper is wet, Just set it up in the back yard until it's dried out. I hope this helps.
