***UPDATE*** Ventilated seats will no longer start on GT-Line Turbo trim. They will only be available on the GT-Line Turbo Limited trim. At time of filming, the vehicle's primary specs included them on the GT-Line Turbo trim - however, it will not be produced that way. This update is current as of 09/16/2024
However I do hope that parent company of Hyundai and Kia could also put in the same 2.0L turbo from the Elantra N in the K4 making the GT trim to have a direct competitor for it to have N vs GT, would be truly epic to see that especially as the K4 looks a lot more sportier than the Elantra with the aerodynamic design almost as if inspired by Lamborghini so the GT trim of the K4 with the Elantra's 2.0L Turbo would be the perfect package combination to fully complete it off, let's keep our hopes up that this would be considered and put into motion, readers, plz like if y'all agree
Please have an Elantra in the bay as well when you video the K4 so we can get a good size comparison. They are built on the same chasis after all so they should look similarly sized.
First time I have seen you on a weekend presentation greetings from oakville and the kia K4 hatchback has been confirmed for 2026 according to numerous usa auto websites ciao
I've been curious what colors they were going to offer, so that was great! I'm surprised you didn't talk about the 4 interior color options and what trims those are available on.
The K4 looks like a great car but I have two gripes with it. The gear shift is unnecessarily big and out of place and the kia logo on the steering wheel is to the side which is a design decision I don’t understand
I agree with the logo why they off set it like that on the steering wheel is beyond me but my complaint is the back up light at the bottom of the rear bumper
Oh the EX plus - nicer sound glass (expensive cars used to get that as I wondered about it in the specs); and my car I find it funny how only the driver window is the "one-click" up and down. Sunroof I avoid always (my Dad installed a sunroof in '77 Civic I had - he must have had nerves of steel to cut a hole in the roof of a new car) - I guess they are very reliable and don't leak now.
Caps on the LX - well I liked caps. I remember bumping a curb badly one morning with my Neon on my way to work and not being alarmed until I noticed my hub-cap; spinning along seeming to still make good time along the lawns of the yards. Ended up the tire was torn and wheel bent - not good.
I believe this vehicle would fit better in the Midsize Sedan Class than it does in the Compact Car segment. Therefore, I suggest the Forte should remain on the market for the budget-conscious Sportbi buyer; it's a great car. Kia should keep the Forte in production for the time being.
Oh not the same powertrains - one key difference there - that is a tried and true 8 speed automatic on the turbo! Very much wondering if the base motor will be peppy enough with the bigger size - I bet someone and Kia would have an impression of it.
If it was just a slightly redesigned Kia forte. I’d say probably only a $1000-$2000 difference from the current generation. However, because this is considered a new nameplate/model line, I don’t exactly have a range, I’m hoping it’s not priced too far out 😳
@@BrantfordKia Oh Okay good to know. I was thinking of purchasing the 2025 Kia seltos EX AWD. Thoughts? I was told that I need to make a deposit for it at the dealership as they need to order it. Roughly how long does it take from the deposit date to receive it? Thanks.

Hey guys. I keep checking back to your channel for new information on Kia K4. Do you have any idea as to when Canadian pricing for Kia K4 will be available?
The thing is although it's not the exact rebaged Forte/Cerato and a full on all new vehicle model it still doesn't change the fact that it will be acknowledged as its successor in the compact class to compete against the Hyundai Elantra, Honda Civic, Mazda 3, Toyota Corolla, Nissan Sentra and Subaru Impreza especially as the larger K5 is already taking on the Mid-Sized Class but could already see that it would dominate the class being the largest in class fully specked out if not almost as it seriously has an all new flare which just puts it above its rivals, so yeah let's just understand this
I’m a new owner of a k4 traded my 2023 forte it’s different miss my forte 😢but my k4 loves me more so she says kIA is the best looking automobiles on the market in my opinion better than Honda Toyota Nissan suburu Mazda kIA family ❤
Great looking car...horrible wheel designs, easily fixed and stockers make good enough winter wheels 🤷♂️ I'm posting this having not seen all the rims yet😋😋😋
@@Jweiss76 yeah agree. although you can always change them with aftermarket wheels. I know if I do get this car I will definetely change with one of the aftermarket wheels.

I’m happy to see that Canada is getting the K4. It’ll help fill the void left by the loss of the K5…

I liked the base dual spoke steering wheel - I know some did not but I thought it was the best execution of a dual spoke I can recall.
Rear passenger vents - love how both of you used the thumb gesture for the folks back there - that is exactly my thinking on the back seat people. 🤭
The K4 has to be the best looking compact sedan out there. Can't wait to see it in person

I agree with the offset logo on the steering. A cool looking spoiler would've been a nice touch if done right.

I hope the u.s gets ambient lighting and heated seats in the rear. All this sounds great.

How much will the GT line limited cost MSRP?

Is there any trim with independent rear suspension?
Hey ladies, it’s the 7th month of 2024 coming to an end, any news when the Tucson will be here with you for a review?
Present from the Philippines 🙋
I wish the K4 brings a GT version also !!!
great info, cant wait. I need to choose between K5, 4, Sonata, Elantra....
K5 !
Hello ladies 🥰 thank you so much
The turbos are different, the forte uses the 1.6t gamma engine while the K4 (and K5 except 2025) uses the newer smartstream 1.6t
Very nice, comprehensive overview. Good job 👏
Thanks for watching!

Is the Forte done?
No…

It's the Kia version of the new Elantra platform...💯🧐🤔🙄
🌹 Charlotte what a cutie 🌹
When is it gonna release?
We will see it before the end of 2024.
Never 😩
Does the LX trim not have the Drive Mode Select feature?
Will steel grey be the same matte grey found on the k5?
So no regular GT line? before the turbo?

I'm trading in my sportage for one
No GT-Line NON-Turbo for Canada? I believe the US may get that trim level.
I wish they simplified it more when it comes to trim. The sportage had so many it was confusing.
Anyone have an idea how much the EX+ trim would cost? (Canadian price). Thanks!

Hey guys. I keep checking back to your channel for new information on Kia K4.
Do you have any idea as to when Canadian pricing for Kia K4 will be available?
It usually isn't available until right before the vehicles arrive. We have 4 allocated to us, but we don't have an accurate ETA yet.
Awww hell yes ladies this video is what I’ve been waiting for ! :))) can’t wait for you ladies to take it for a test drive or at least walkthrough :)
we can't wait either!
Elantra with smooth body.
No, it’s a lot nicer car than the Elantra…
How much ground clearance it has?
We will let you know once it arrives!

Hey there, are these specs based on internal documentations? I couldn't find any official Canadian specs for Kia K4.
These are the specs for Canada! They came from the vehicle ordering guide which is provided to dealers!
What trims get the digital gauge cluster?
The GT-Line Turbo and above will have the 12.3" digital instrument cluster. The LX, EX, and EX+ will have the 4.2" screen.
@@BrantfordKia thank you so much for that.
Is the hatchback going to be launched at the same time?
We'll see the hatch later than the sedan
I wonder if the GT hatchback will have the 2 l turbo

Any news on the 5-door version? It's the one that's at the top of my list for now.

Kia designs some of the ugliest wheels. I should know, owner of a 2022 stinger.
