We have discussed Master in Physiotherapy program in Canada.
The entry to practice degree for Canadian educated PTs is Master in Physiotherapy.
The entry to practice degree for Physiotherapists from India is Bachelor in Physiotherapy.
If you are from another country- your degree should not be substantially different from Canadian standards.
There are only 15 physical therapy programs which provide Masters In Physiotherapy degree in Canada (10 English, 5 French)

Actually I have two questions and here goes the first.
I have done my masters degree in ortho, do I still have to do the bridging course to get the equivalent of Canadian education.
And the second
Should I enroll in any of the speciality NABH acredited hospitals or just the multispeciality any NABH hospitals. In terms, for the experience certificate of 1 year.

hello ma'am, I wanted to ask as I have done BPT from India. will doing MSc in kinesiology be a good option, as it comes to be very cost effective in comparison to MSC in PT when we look at good Canadian universities. becz I think BPT has already made me eligible for PCE exam and kinesiology is very much related to the field. please reply as shortly as possible.

I have cleared BHU BPT entrance exam and now I want to know that after doing BpT from India's recognized university will i be able to do MPt straight away at Canada or will i have to do bPt there again or any diploma courses.... How can you sit for PCE if you are in India? I heard you have to have Canadian visa to take PCE so that is why I was planning to apply for student permit, get a degree and take the exam.

In the past many students have taken OTAPTA diploma after their BPT/ MPT and had no issues with visa
But nowadays, we are hearing student visas being rejected for OTAPTA diploma courses- not everyone is rejected but the rejection has increased for sure

I want to learn Physiotherapy to help my son who is 6 years of Age and has Mild CP since his birth. His half body on right side from head to tow is weeker compared to his left side.
We have been going form pillar to post and to different physiotherapist for all these years in India but we dont see much result. Due to this , I am now thinking if its possible , I want to learn physiotherapy and help my son.
I studied Commerce in Class 10+2 and have done Masters in Mathematics (MA) - I understand , There is no science subjects involved but still Is there a possibility for person like me to study , learn physiotherapy in CANADA or anywhere on world ?

I appreciate the efforts you are putting in to guide your son’s progress.
To become a Physiotherapist in Canada you would require a bachelors degree with specific credits and then you will have to apply for MSC in Physiotherapy - after that you can give the license exam to become a registered Physiotherapist.
If your aim is to support your son’s therapy I would suggest you take handling classes / courses created for parents based on your current Physiotherapist’s suggestion.
