Thanks for your kind words! Yes, definitely recommend the Line/Phones option with a power amp.. if you're still looking at options, I have an Orange Pedal Baby 100 which is made for running modellers.. it's absolutely incredible! Worth checking out.
@@Edallica Hi Ed, I'm not exactly sure what you're asking however I haven't owned a GT10 for many years but irrespective of the unit I use (currently I'm using a Neural DSP Quad Cortex) I would typically run all output EQ flat. All EQ and tone is achieved through the specific amp model for that preset or sound. In the rare instance I get to a gig and the system sounds weird, I may use global EQ to dial it in.. does that answer your question?
Haha, yes and no. On the left, there is a system button. There you can select input/ouput and adjust the overall output frequenties. +Db low mid and herz etc. I feel it really has a big impact on the overall sound. Therefore, my question;). Btw thanks for answering, big appreciate
I have this problem when I plug my guitar into BOSS GT 10 and then directly into a mixing board, and increase the volume on the processor to a maximum and on the mixer to a certain extent so it's loud enough, there is this weird high-pitched noise occuring when I play my guitar even though I've warltched your video on setting noise supression and set it myself.
it may be that you’re overloading the mixer inputs? are you checking the metering to make sure you’re not pushing it too hard.. try reducing the gain and raising the output
@@tianjay That's a good idea. I'll check the metering the next time I play. Are you referring to the gain that is adjusted in the processor or on the mixer, cause the mixer I use has a gain knob beneath the line input. And when you say output, do you mean the output adjustment in the processor itself?
@ It’s just a suggestion, but it could be digital feedback or aliasing from the GT10 hitting the input of the mixer too hard.. this can result in a high pitched noise. Generally i would start by setting the mix master at unity (0) with the channel slider down. Then adjust the channel gain knob so that it doesn’t peak (clip). Normally there would be a LED light that indicates when this happens… Play your loudest sound and ensure that the LED doesn’t light up. Adjust the gain until it does and then back it off just below and then you can bring the channel slider up to your desired output level .
Thanks for the break down. You answered all of my questions.
your videos are awesome! Im considering buying a SS poweramp combined with my GT10. Do you recommend the Line out/Headphones output?

@@tianjay Im probably going for the Palmer Macht 402. Connected stereo on a 2x12 cabinet
@@tianjay Hey Tian, Quick one.... What are your system ouput frequency levels. (mid, low etc)
