  • The Svengali Project by Craig Petty and Alakazam Magic is a super fun, in-depth exploration of the classic Svengali deck! Most beginners start with this deck, but it often ends up in a drawer! Craig Petty has turned the Svengali deck on it's head, and has created a ton of commercial material you can do with it! This is insane.

I love the Svengali Deck. As a Psychology graduate, I present this deck as part of a pseudo hypnotic presentation. A lot of possibilities. ❤

I didn't purchase this because I felt the risk was too great that too much of the material would be (perhaps minor) variations of material I've seen before. After all, It makes sense to wonder if a gimmicked deck which has been around for as long as the Svengali Deck has had it's creative well run dry.
I appreciated the trick you presented, along with your mentions that some of the effects require additional components. It may take these additions to bring new ideas to the Svengali Deck, but if that's what it takes, that's what it takes - and if they work, they work! Thanks for the review.

Great review. I think time stamps would have been a good idea. The tutorials by Craig are always thorough.
