  • After the disappointing visit to the Datsun Fairlady Z in Ireland.. I managed to find another one..
    This one is slightly worst for wear... Genuine Right hand drive Datsun Fairlady Z 2+2!

    Yeah for sure, I think it will need a lot of time+money to get back on the road. It’s a cheap way into a Datsun Z car.
    Underneath is ok actually, floors seem solid. Which is a good start.
    Apparently it runs which could be another video 😅

    Interesting project! That burgundy is a sweet original colour also… is it worth restoring😅 depends on how it’s underneath… looks very complete with hard to find parts in good condition. Thanks for sharing

      Yeah the burgundy is a cool colour, underneath I’d ok but I’d love to get it sand blasted and just see what’s left from the shell

    Not sure about that one. Could be a deep pocket job. Lot of rust plus what is underneath? Plenty of parts still about to restore. Good dash! Think that is a genuine radio. I had a 260 years ago. They rusted from new!

      Wow that amazing it still has the original stereo.. Its not so bad underneath.. it would be interesting to acid dip the shell and see what you had left to work with
