This video came in the right time for me. I am planning to buy a metal cutter to cut off 2 of the 4 mounting tabs on a 4" (100mm) speaker for mounting in the car dash board.
tin snips may not be the best option. Maybe nippers, or side cutters, but I think most likely a hacksaw or dremel or angle grinder will do it the easiest - and then clean up with a file
I have some of those older model Stanley snips, and I didn't think they were anything very special, but anyone can see that they're built better than the Fatmax version. My current favourite tin snips are made in Germany by NWS.
Another case of Stanley bleeding the product name, making the product cheaper, leaving the name the same often with the same part number but having an inferior product.
Fat max not so good got a few things and I'll give it just an ok and for get the car jump starter the air has just got enough to fill a few lawn mower tires before it's done.

Hello again Catus Maximus and Tiny
Thank you for another Great Video 👍 I haven't heard of Midwest tool. How is there warranty? Again thank you 😊
I have the Wiss versions. I never use them when doing sheetmetal work. Great for cutting shipping straps but not much else.

I only use Channellocks for metal shears. Interesting review though. Thanks.
