The AI video has some sort of vibe to it, in both a good and a bad way, I'd say. The good part is that it has storytelling depth, and the art style. The bad part is probably that it's somewhat "humanly stiff" and has these early stage development glitches. I can't say that the music fits the vibe of the video, however. Some parts yes, perhaps it would fit better if it was real life footage. Seems like you guys were probably inspired by Disturbed (amongst many other bands, I'm sure). But the guitar tone and some riffs reminded me of Disturbed. The vocals seem a bit buried in the mix, but I'm listening on a laptop, so that might have something to do with it. The chorus has quite a nice melody. Nice effort guys, keep it up!

Technically, it’s very good. It’s the stylistic that’s boring. You’re a really good guitar player. :)

Thanks! I'm open to input... what kind of thing would you like to hear?

@@MusicWithMarky I know you can do metal. Go listen to the following...
      1. Long Cool Women in a Black Dress by the Hollies.
      2. Lunatic Fringe by Red Ryder.
      3. The Downtown by Days of the New.
      4. Strong Reaction by Pegboy.
Do not listen to any more Creed, Tool, Godsmack or Disturbed.
I am sorry that I sound like an a-hole. You’re just better than that. Just give a listen to my recommendations and then have a drink and think.

@@MusicWithMarky Keith Richards once said that if the average bloke can’t sing at least two bars of your riff, it’s not going to be a hit. He could shred a bit if he wanted to, but ask yourself, are you playing/writing for the average person, or are you just trying to impress a master musician. By all rights, Yngwie Malmsteen should thus be the richest musician. But he’s not, his playing is too complex for the average person to even attempt to hum a riff. Smoke On The Water is a different story. Highway To Hell same deal...simple stuff. Simplify. Peace dude!
You’re literally writing and playing for Beavis and Butthead. If that helps....

I appreciate these thoughts and have shared them myself. You might want to hear more of the stuff I've put out to see that I cover ranges from very simple to very Dream Theater style technical music as well. I'm excited that you shared some songs with me that I never heard of because I always like to add new influences and check out things that I haven't heard before. I've listened to the first two so far and I see the kind of vibe you are into.
Although I share my music publicly, I had to long ago let go of any thought beyond my own feeling of a song because it leads me to a maddening, insane kind of place that isn't healthy. When I was first doing music in a public setting, way back in the late '80s, all I did was think about writing to the sound of the time and what people would think about it. Somewhere along the way I stopped enjoying the process entirely and it took me years of being away from it and only writing music to listen to in my own car to realize why I ever started playing music in the first place.
Sometimes that means I write very derivative music (especially based on my '80s hair metal tastes) and sometimes it leads me to some really weird and esoteric instrumental stuff that I don't always post. But one thing I always do, is write what I am honestly feeling and hearing.
That said, again I appreciate input and new influences because it's always nice to learn new languages to express feelings that you want to get out in music.
