Awesome!!!! Hows she ride? If it has issues w/ turning... a narrower axle may help... or relocating the axle further back, to get more weight pushed to the front n off the rear axle (direct weight).
Thanks. It is fun on the straightaways. Tuning sucks... with a 40" axle. It just pushed the front tire on turns. I tried the stock 145/70-6 tire and that helped a little. Another member at OMB did a similar stretch and conversion and used a 32" axle. He says it turns nice but you just have to lean in the turns a little. ( assume that means to keep it from tipping). I went ahead and ordered a 32"also. figured 36" will still be too wide. Once that is on I will post a vid of it running.
2SlickNick AWESOME!!!! Love the transparent line... seeing the fuel being pumped is +2 (kewl) points for Gryffindor.!!! Other than that..."may" wanna think bout putting an inline filter on the intake line of the fuel pump. Chances are slim that anything'll get in there... but ya never know if/when a hunk of dirt/sand finds its way in there... and eventually into the carb... a paper filter is the norm... but Ive found a screen filter allows less drag on the suction.. ie. saves pump longevity .
Where did you purchase your axle assembly?
