There need to be a video about introduction to routine maintenance / cleaning. Apparently, there are people who don't take care of their equipments after usage.
hi guys i saw a lot of reviews about the pressure gauge of the flair flex leaking on amazon. Are you looking into that? I want to buy that product since I am no connoisseur and the newbie portafilter is great for me. Thanks!
Flair 58 with preheating should cost something around 350$ Because I can buy better product at AliExpress for 350$ ..... small ITOP devices with preheat function...... Or big Alm Kopi (check out Lance Hedrick s review)
I have the Pro 2… love it. If you are genuinely keen to learn what goes into a good shot you cant go past a manual machine. Every parameter is under your direct control. It takes time and effort but you learn so much along the way. If you feel you want to transition to an automatic machine later, the knowledge and understanding you gain using a manual machine won’t be wasted… you’ll probably end up pulling decent shots quicker and more consistently on the automatic machine. For me though, i like my daily ‘zen’ moment with my Pro 2. … And no, I have nothing to do with Flair other than I bought one of their machines 😎
I am deeply disappointed in the product. It hasn't worked well even once in 4 days of use. The water comes out on the piston at the slightest pressure of the lever, generating low pressure, which causes it to extract little coffee or none at all. I have tried different grinds from as coarse as in both filter holders and the results are the same. The little coffee that comes out is watered down and very bitter. They promise real espresso but the results are worse than a mocha. If anyone in the community knows a solution, I would ask for help.

Hey, I don't know exactly which model you are talking about, but those results scream that your grind is way too course. This is a problem most newcomers have when they start on any espresso machine unless they use something like a flow control basket. We've all been there. Trust me it gets better with practice. One thing unfortunately nobody teaches people when they invest in their first espresso machine is dialling in the grind size can get fiddly. They can very from coffee to coffee as well, a dark roast needs a coarser grind than a light roast.

No distracting sound track and all info, no filler, well done!
I've been using my Flair 58 for 3 years now, before that I had the Pro 2 which I still keep in its carrying case,
