Amazing how this was something that Trey Parker and Matt Stone put all their love and effort into this instead of being an AI cover.
They must have had an absolute blast in the recording studio making this.
This was a decade before AI
I know it was way before AI was as advanced as it is today, but it’s very impressive how you had Trey and Matt record this themselves. The only way to make covers of songs by other artists or fictional characters back then was for someone to impersonate them. Which most of the time ended up sounding pretty cringeworthy.

I always love these types of cartoon songs, where the character can't sing, but the person who's playing them can, so you end up with Cartman, or Peter Griffin singing really well despite the joke being that it's "bad".
Butters is such a good helpfull person that even though he is not interested in what Stan is doing he still helps him find other people who are.
