So these videos come out in the morning in my time zone and honestly not gonna lie, those days I get to watch these before work my day is absolutely better.
I own the M3 L3 and now have the XL3 and your right about everything you said. You gotta own one to know the quality of the sound. I will never go back to any other speakers. I sold off my Bumpboxx when I bought my first Diamondbox
@@sevendee I personally like the L3 more than the M3. Of course the bigger the better sound your gonna get. But the M3 is still definitely great sounding also.
I wonder if this speaker could replace my entire hi fi home system. I have a decent vintage amplifier chained with 4 heavy ground speakers, and I would like to get something smaller to free up some space in my room, but without losing any sound quality or loudness. Also it would mean less cables since I connected all of these to my pc cause thats how I listen to music mostly. I also have jbl boombox 3 which is great cause I can put it in my backpack and carry around, but it cant replace my whole system, so I would appreciate any insight from the owner.
Tony looks like he knows what he is doing, this does look like the best speaker on the planet. Thank you Flossy for reviewing the Diamond Boxx speaker for us. Long live Flossy and long live the Diamond Boxx people.
watch this video "Loudest Shop System You have Ever heard SMD 8' Towering Towers powered up" look at the towers a bit and then skip to around 8-something minute where he plays music. these towers are 10,000 watts.
Flossy, I’ve been waiting for months for THIS review! You are the master sensei of speakerology! I’ve got the XL2 with the big 462 Wh battery. You’re not lying about how these speakers can change your life and open you up to a whole new experience of sound quality with POWER. The hardest part of the DiamondBoxx experience is the long wait for delivery. That said, the wait is so worth it! Did I make a mistake not getting a $econd XL2 and flipping them on their sides? I’d say that is my only nagging regret. Flossy, I’d love to hear more on your personal opinion on the nuanced sound differences between the XL2 and XL3. I can’t see myself ever getting rid of my XL2. She’s part of the family now. What next? 8.2 or XL3 when my ship comes in? Decisions! Decisions! Many thanks from a Kentucky country boy, Flossy! Thanks to Tony and his staff too. Folks, Flossy ain’t lying! LOL
C'mon Flossy, really that good. Yes, it is cause I've had mine for three weeks. I was fortunate to pre-order and saved $400. I have it paired with my XL. I know a little about top-end speakers because I have some of the best that Polk Audio makes. Great vid as always.
If I was recommending somebody which speaker to start with, it'd be the SUB8.2. Can pair with any other speaker with an aux input and give amazing bass to anything. You'll definitely be wanting to come back to pair it with another Diamondboxx.
I’ve watched hundreds of your videos and Floss , I’m hearing your test tunes like I’ve never heard them before, bass I didn’t even know was on these tracks. Man 😮
You really have to hear them in person especially two connected for stereo mode. The smaller model is also impressive. Your final ranking does not surprise me. These are truly incredible engineering and I'm glad to see them get more attention.
The video don't do it justice i would like to be in the studio and feel the experience myself and feel that bass. You rock Floss keep up the great work it's much appreciated.
🤔Not Jordan,.He's the LeBron of tech ! Because Lebron is a cool dude just as Floss is a cool dude. Jordan is known to be a HUGE d bag off he court.😑 Even to his teammate and fans.! Here's just one example > ua-cam.com/video/y4ZQERHL6ow/v-deo.html
I already have the M3, L3 and XL2 thanks to you Floss. I told myself I wouldn’t be getting the XL3 and only 10 minutes into this video, I’m getting the XL3 😎
My XL3 finally arrived yesterday and I've been playing it ever since. Man, what can I say? This thing is truly next level Portable HIFI equipment. The sound quality is simply stellar, you have to hear it to believe it! Never before have I heard such clarity; its crystal clear, open and dynamic in sound. I also have a pair of JBL Partybox 1000's but even though they sound great this sounds even better, because it has even more overall clarity. When I first unpacked this I thought to myself "this is going to be heavy", knowing that its 18.6 Kg or 41 lb., but once I lifted it out of the package it wasn't even heavy, and I am a man in his mid 50s. I am also an audiophile who had the whole home stereo thing (you know separate Pre-Amp., Main Amplifier, CD Players/Changer & Recorder, 32 band Equalizer and proper Floor Standing heavy Speakers, but that system is now over 20 years old and I can honestly say that this XL3 sounds even better than that, although the price of this home stereo was around 12,650 Euros back in the day (I bought it for almost half price new though). I will also say that the fact that this thing can simply be picked up and moved anywhere is for me the ultimate selling point. Combining that with the superb build quality and you know you simply have the best (portable) bluetooth speaker system in the world! I also love the fact that this thing is one high-end unit; there's no need for any Amplifiers, CD Players, Turntables or any passive Speakers; all you need is a smartphone to play anything you want. This not only saves money but also lots of space. I think that in order to get this kind of high end sound from a home stereo you'd easily have to spend in the range of $5000 or more, which makes this a real deal. On a more personal note, I also think that this speaker system looks absolutely beautiful; its the perfect blend of old school look combined with modern technology. Being a big Metalhead I wanted to see how it could handle some of the heaviest, fastest, and hardest music around, and what can I say, even when I thought it might struggle when I tested it with Extreme Metal (Death & Black Metal) it handled it as if it was nothing, almost as if to say, is that all you got, lol. This is really significant because Extreme Metal can easily get all jumbled up sound wise and sound distorted or muffled! Overall, I will say that this thing is worth its weight in gold. If you are on the fence about it, then do yourself a real favor and go and get it; trust me, you won't ever regret it; this thing is the best thing I've ever spent money on next to my old Toyota Corolla, and my new KIA Sportage.
I was wondering if this speaker could replace my entire hi fi home system. I have a decent vintage amplifier connected to 4 heavy ground speakers, and I would like to get something smaller to free up some space in my room, but without losing any sound quality or loudness. Also it would mean less cables since I connected all of these to my pc cause thats how I listen to music mostly. I also have jbl boombox 3 which is great cause I can put it in my backpack and carry around, but it cant replace my whole system, so I would appreciate any insight from the owner.
@@profesorz642 I am not sure about your 4 heavy floor standing speakers. Are they also of the vintage type? Are they high end type of speakers? If they are not of the high end, real HIFI type; then I'd say that the XL3 would definitely be right for you! Especially, as it has the image dial button on it; this dial when turned towards the right will give you a fully immersive sound, what the industry refers to as surround sound. This means that with only 1 XL3 in front of you, it will sound like you literally have 2 playing in front of you! I also don't quite understand the need for 4 speakers, as real stereo sound is always achieved with 2 speakers usually put into the stereo triangle position to obtain best sound quality. 4 or more speakers are usually used for home theater type of sound when watching movies, etc. When I had my old High End stereo I added 2 cheaper book shelf B&W speakers to it in order for home theater effect, but I soon found out that they only make sense when watching movies or TV, when playing music my lower high end heavy floor standing Quadral Vulcan speakers were clearly superior to the smaller 2 book shelf speaker, so much that they degraded the sound, which compelled me to turn them off whenever I wanted to enjoy listening to music. I am guessing that you are using your speakers in the same manner: 2 for music and 4 for home theater experience? But really without knowing whether your 4 speakers are high end (even if lower type of high end), I can't assess your situation properly! If you could tell me about these 4 floor standing speakers, I am sure my advice could be of more use.
@@mansurkhan2764 Thank you for your response. You are right, I dont really need all 4 for my room but I liked the combination of sound they produce when put together. I have 2 vintage 3 way speakers and 2 heavy floor standing speakers paired with integrated stereo dc amplifier. Not really high end ultra expensive system but it sounds nice. So the amplifier is techincs su-v8 new class A paired with two altus 110 hifi speakers and two philips fb 850 floor standers with dual 6 inch woofers and ribbon highs. They are connected on two separate channels, so I can listen to them 2 by 2 or all 4 together. The problem is I dont really have a lot of free space in my room so they are not optimally positioned plus I have a cable management problem because they are put in different corners of the room and all of that is connected to my pc along with other stuff, so I want to get read of all those cables without losing any sound quality. I listen to various genres of music with lots of heavy metal, hip hop, techno and even classical music so I need something that can sound great in all of those. Sound quality is extremely important to me, as I like deep, full bass combined with rich, clear highs, but I also need strong speakers cause I sometimes like to listen very loud music without losing the quality when I turn it up. Also, some of the recordings that I have are lower quality because I mostly listen to mp3 format on my pc, or some music from youtube, so I need to have the ability to turn the volume up to compensate, but also a speaker that is forgiving in terms that it can handle a lower quality recording without too much noise. Sorry for bothering you with such a long comment, but I hope I gave you enough information about what I currently have and what I need. I was thinking about getting the XL3 first and later perhaps pair it with sub8.2 for the ultimate combination of lows and highs, so I need your opinion on that. Should I get both, do I need both and would it be enough for music, cinema and all of my needs in general?
@@profesorz642 I took a look online to find some info on the speakers you have; in terms of the Altus 110 HIFI speakers, I was surprised to find that almost all the info was in some eastern European language, but they looked good, when it came to the Philips FB 850 there was a lot of praise for those. Obviously with the Diamondboxx XL3 and the Sub 8.2 you'd need at best only 1 thin cable that comes with those speaker systems, so your cable and space problem will be solved, and if you totally wanted to eliminate any cable you could also connected them via Blue Tooth. I've connected my XL3 with my L3 and it sounds fantastic together; I use a cable that came with those speakers (as that will give you the best sound quality). In terms of strong speakers that don't lose sound quality, when played at even max volume the XL3 or the L3 are the near perfect candidates. You can really crank these up all the way without any noticeable loss in sound quality, and this is of course one the absolute distinguishing features that these great speaker systems have! Moreover, they are ridiculously loud: the XL3 in sound quality mode, will give you 120 decibels, and in sound pressure mode its 122 decibels, so its like literally standing in the front row of a Heavy Metal concert! Just make sure you have very tolerant neighbors, lol... As to the different genres of music, I may be biased cause I love Metal as it has so many different genres within itself (from Melodic Metal through Power Metal to Extreme Metal and everything in between). However, I also listen to Rock and occasionally even some pop songs (once every blue moon, lol), and with these different music categories I would say that pop sounds probably even more amazing, as it doesn't have as many frequencies and instruments to deal with, anyway, all the comments I've read (and I tried to read them all before buying Diamondboxx boomboxes) said that they performed flawlessly with all types of music. As to lower types of mp3 music, just yesterday I listened to a 192 kbps demo recording of a heavy metal band from the 1980s that was released in 2010 or so on a real CD (not CD-R), and it sounded still very good, but obviously you won't get a sound from it that a proper studio recording would give you. I was still surprised by the quality that it retained considering it was just a demo from a long forgotten band from the mid-1980s. With regard to UA-cam, I'm sure that you know that they only transmit at 160 kbps max, so its not even close to 192 kbps, I believe that I can really hear the difference in sound quality, esp. cause they probably transmit only under the best of conditions at 160 kbps! But telling the difference between a 320 kbps recording and even a CD is extremely difficult; blind tests conducted tell us that something in the range of 90-95% of people simply can't tell the difference, and it includes me most likely as well. I think that the XL3 would give you most likely a much better sound, or at least a significantly better sound (obviously I've to speculate a bit, as I have never had any of the hifi gear that you have). But, like I wrote I had a lower high end home stereo: Signature 1.0 Pre-Amp. from Harmon Kardon, and the 2.1 Main Amp. from Harman Kardon to go along with it (these were very powerful, actually I could never turn a CD recording beyond 25% of volume, but these amps were on sale for half the price 2000 euros instead of 4000 at the time). Due to the fact, that like yours it was in a smaller room, so I opted for a Techniques Equalizer 34 band, the best at the time, which I had to get from Ebay, my only non new item. The rest were heavy floor standing Quadral Vulcan Speakers (52 kg a speaker), several CD players, a Sony SA CD player, and a Marantz CD Recorder, while the main one was a Kenwood 200 CD changer with great sound quality (although considered non high end), to name the most important components. And once I bought the XL3, over 20 years after buying my home stereo, I was astonished as to how much better it sounded! The things is that speaker technology has really improved a lot since the last 20 years. I believe that your idea of getting the XL3 is a great one, and then going for the Sub.8.2 is excellent. As a side note, I want to give you my experience: After getting the XL3 I noticed that although it is called the King of Bass I thought that it wasn't enough bass for me, but I soon realized that this had everything to do with the music that I listen to, since Metal music is almost always anemic when it comes to bass guitar, because it tends to be drowned out by the guitars and drums. So I was a bit disappointed as I bought the L3 first and thought to myself now what am I going to do with the L3 since the XL3 sounds better than it? At 1st, I thought I'd get the Sub. 8.2 but as I don't live in the USA the price with import taxes would have been way too much, so I thought how about getting a Subwoofer from Klipsch, but then I thought wait why not hook up the L3, and voila my problem was solved. So in conclusion, I think you can't go wrong with the XL3, esp. in combination with the Sub. 8.2 (I would have gotten that as well, but would have easily had to pay 2.5 times the price of it due to taxes over here). I can only imagine how astonishing that combination would sound! Although I have enough dough to buy this combo 10 times if I wanted, I also have a wife, lol, and she'd probably have a heart attack if I bought yet another Diamondboxx component, esp. since space is also a big issue where we live and I already have 9 BT speaker systems. So needless, to say, all your cable and space issues would be solved with excellent sound quality !! I think the best thing for you would be to go for the XL3 first and see if it gives you the amount of bass you want. If you feel that you still need more bass then the Sub. 8.2 would be the best way to go! esp. if you live in the USA (no annoying import taxes that are rather high in most countries). I am sure that your cinema needs will also be more than met with even just the XL3, as you don't have the whole surround sound system set up. Of course, that type is geared towards movies, etc. with speakers behind you and so on. However, if movies are important to you, then the minimum requirement is 5.1 Surround Sound System, but that means having at least 5 separate speakers, and probably many wires ! Also, in terms of global inflation, the best thing to do is buy high value things, such as vintage cars, wine, and high end stereo gear, cause at the very least they will retain their value, if not get you extra value in the short to long run! P.S. Sorry for going a bit overboard in length, but besides music and literature, high end HIFI gear is one of my big passions. Btw. are you a Professor?
@@mansurkhan2764 Thanks a lot for your time. I don't consider myself as a hardcore audiophile, but I really enjoy a good sound quality. Like yourself, I also listen to a lot of metal variations (power, symphonic, black etc.), but sometimes I like to crank it up with hardcore hip hop beats with heavy bass, or some electronic stuff. However I have the similar problem you described, which sadly I didn't think of myself, and that is the taxes. I live in Eastern Europe, so I have no idea how much would it cost me to get that subwoofer, or even XL3, as its not a light speaker by any means. I have been also looking into Buchardt A500 wireless speakers, as they are similarly priced as this combination we talked about, but sadly I cant find any video or an article on the net comparing it with the XL3. There are also bigger but more expensive A700 floor speakers and Arendal 1723 tower which got a lot of praise, but these are not wireless and would need an integrated amplifier, which defeats the purpose of me reducing the size of my stereo system and getting rid of the extra cables :) P.S. Im not an actual professor although I do have a master degree, it was merely the artisan name I used while I was with my local band.
@@rodiddy4983 It took a good month and change. I was a bit worried at first but it will ship sometime after 30 days. I think they build each unit as they receive them. As for the discount, I think I was bamboozled. They raised prices just to give a discount. In my case, at the time a XL3 was $2399 with a discount code of $400 off. If you look on the website now they’re $1999 so there not really discounted. I’m currently waiting on a SUB8.2 to pair with my XL3. I ordered it on 12/1/22 and it still hasn’t shipped yet..so yeah 😩 Customer service is saying they’re currently having a delay in shipment from the manufacturer. On another note, I love the XL3. It sounds so good ! Can’t wait to pair it with the SUB.
@@FlossyCarter I got it now my man and it sounds amazing 🎶🎶🎶 Definitely achieved ludicrous status 😎 I paired it with the Sub 8.2 & I don’t regret non of it. I’m actually thinking about stacking a L3 and M3 on it. I’m going crazy 🤣🤣 Gotta wait for another major discount tho 👌🏾
Dude, even if it was sponsored vid I've never seen you put that many major go's! It's really expensive so right way I was thinking no way I'm ever gonna buy that but now....... I might get this FR
@Flossy Carter I was listening to this on my bowers and Wilkins pi7 and I could hear when the bass changed man especially when you added the subs, im gonna get through Christmas but I'm really gonna consider these
Love how he compares diamondboxx to everyone else as a nissan altima or a lamborghini....damn love Flossy's way with words. Love it when he says the price which is a little bit of an eye opener number but he follows it straight up with "you need that"... he's right, I do! Yes...yes I do!
Floss I own two diamond boxx the original xl which still has heads nodding . And the PA 10. Both are the joint. Diamond boxx is definitely the truth. No complaints. I know they are pricey but you get what you pay for and customer service is the best . CLASS OPERATION.
This is the best salesman pitch over any product I have ever seen in my life. If they aren’t paying you by now…. They are idiots! I am purchasing this box tonight. You had me at nipples hard. That’s my line but sir I will let you have it. Great job! If you ever need a marketing job, please let me know!
I own an L3, and I absolutely love my speaker. I can only imagine how much better this new XL3 will sound like in person. Flossy has made me a believer in Diamondboxx, I'd highly recommend this company. Sound quality is unreal and unheard of in the bluetooth world. I just had a holiday party at my house this past weekend with over 40 guest's and let me tell you that everyone was dancing in the middle of my living room floor with just my L3 bumpin. I'll be purchasing the new XL3 soon! God 🙌 bless y'all!
Holy shit man I never thought we’d see anything higher than a quad major go. I have the XL2 and a M3 and I gotta say they’re worth every penny I dropped on em. Now I gotta find prepare myself for the ass chewing of a lifetime when my fiancé finds out I ordered this beast. #SPmode4life 😂
Listened to the entire video on my B&O exs and this thing sounds crazy ... I can only imagine how you can feel the music go through you when this thing is right in front of you. WOW ...Thanks Flossy for putting stuff out there that I would never encounter if it weren't for your channel ... I do not care if you were paid to do it you always keep it flossy !!!
I have (4) XL2 speakers, daisy-chained together they are just like a dance club. Last party I played at, I was def for days and everyone there loved them!
Oh my God; I have 1 XL3 and 1 L3 and hooking them up is already a blast; I can't even begin to imagine what 4 XL2's would be like. It must be like transmitting your own live concert to the whole neighborhood, lol. Keep on Rockin' until the police come around knockin', lolz...
I do not own any of the products discussed in this video; however, I have owned multiple, amped out the ***, hatchback boxes and I can only imagine the audio these products produce. Those hatchback boxes produced the best and loudest audio I've ever heard from a regular vehicle. I can bet that these DiamondBoxx BT speaker boxes probably sound better and I want one now.
Hey Flossy isn't bullshiting about Diamondboxx! I purchased the L3 in Black and I'm extremely satisfied. My next boxx will be this beast Xl3 i know u will not be disappointed. Thanks Floss
Hey Floss I got the l3 and sub 8.2 I linked them one time wireless and they sounded awesome. Next day they won't pair using tws button. How do I "daisy chain" the l3 and 8.2. Help me out doggy plz
@@robertcarrillo8261Floss recommended me to go with the L3 + SUB8.2 combo over the XL3 if I only had $2K in hand. I'm damn happy with it. I recommend getting the SUB8.2 first to anybody that already has a decent speaker because you can just pair any speaker to it and it'll sound great...and have you wanting to also go get more from Diamondboxx.
You know Floss means business when he gives you the WEIGHT of a Bluetooth speaker. This one you need a dolly to drag this BEAST around! DAYUM I got a cheap earpiece and I could tell the difference when he changed volume levels and two paired together sick Sick SICK Floss!
Owner of XL2, M3, L3, Sub8.2 & two Model40TWS and use almost all but the last two in my car weekly. I'm hearing impaired and lost about 90% each ear hereditarily. So the sound on these are very important for me and of course the vibrating back rubs' have felt very good to me.
Good presentation as always on all your reviews. Maybe it is me, but I thought a orb coming in on the mid left of screen going across. Keep up the good work. Even the spirits are disturbed by the loud sounding boombox.
Bad ass speaker video from Floss = LIKE before I even get started. My speaker game is set, however, I'll watch because these are the best reviews on UA-cam and I'm always curious what's up. Bottom line, Floss reviews always deliver flagship specs. Happy Thanksgiving to you, your fam and, of course, White Shoes!!!
@@FlossyCarter Fair enough, bought the JBL Xtreme 3 on your recommendation, and am very happy with it, gets more than loud enough for me and is the perfect size to not become too unwieldly. Bought it on sale for the equivalent of $177 USD, which I think was a pretty solid price. Thanks again!
@@FlossyCarter Damn Flossy you are truly the Man. You might as well start substituting Diamondboxxes for weights, lol. Like I bench press 4 DB XL3's lolz.
Just got the XL3 and I was able to test it yesterday afternoon. It is a very good speaker with range to spare. Although it can get very Loud, that’s not the reason I bought this speaker or any speaker for that matter, even though I some times crank it, but for that I have something else that would make picture frames fall of the wall with ease. That EQ adjustments is what makes this speaker great. And now I can listen to probably all kinds of genres with it. Now I can control the annoying midrange the L3 have at louder volume and the 35Hz of low end feels lower than what it is. Just so you have an idea, my baffle speakers I have at home can go to 26 Hz. It is obviously powerful and one of the things I really like is that you don’t loose low end at low volumes and that is HUGE when it comes to audio, I still not sure how they did that so well. The stereo separation adjustment works very well and helps with the dynamic range and fills the room in a heartbeat at moderate volume. This speaker shines at 75% volume, more than that is unnecessary, unless you are in party mode. I paired it with the L3 and of course everything got louder quick. That will be the set up for an outside party. If I keep the L3 is to listen to instrumental and more critical track, since the midrange will definitely help with that or when I don’t want to drag an extra 10 pounds to the yard. 😅 By the way it makes the L3 looks like baby in size. 😆
I have the XL2 (which you also reviewed) and to be honest, imo it isn't " OMG this is so loud, well worth two thousand dollars". What's weird is that everyone says you should turn the volume all the way up on your cellphone/iPad, etc. as the volume control, but even at half volume on my XL2 AND using a 3rd party equalizer w/loudness option it isn't remotely loud at 50%. At 100% regardless of what music I throw at it, it's nowhere near "too loud to hear myself talk". I thought maybe using BT it loses something so I used the included line-in jack and same results. Ever since Bose retired the AcousticWave (BoseBox) I've been itching to replace it, first I went w/2 Aiwa Exos-9s which only offered incremental power over it, although having an EQ made for better sound. Then I bought a Devialet Phantom Gold but that really isn't "portable" especially because of how fragile it is. I don't know, I just thought based on all of the reviews that this XL2 would rattle windows and yet I'm left feeling "meh" about it for the price.
@@FlossyCarter I ordered mine July 31, 2022. It’s about to be 5 months waiting for it lol. They replied to my email recently saying there was a delay because of some part being remade. But when I get get it 😈🙌🏼‼️😂
Cuz... I had the opportunity to hear a pair of XL2s this summer and they are incredible! However, with $3500 (XL3 + Sub) or $5000 for 2 XL3s, you can get 2 (or 4) JBL Party Box 1000s (or some other combination of JBLs) and an EcoFlow, Anker, etc powerstation (or 2 even) to power them. The good thing with that is you can use the power station to run/charge other devices as well. Most power stations can be recharged with your car. Not to mention, you can "DJ" and have a light show with the JBLs. Besides, the idea of taking $2500 speakers to "the beach", especially those that only last for around 5 or 6 hours at high volume, is a tough one for me. Heck, lugging around the JBLs is almost as crazy! At least you can get a 2 year replacement warranty from Best Buy and they are easy to get warranty/ service on. There's no doubt that the DiamondBoxx speakers are the best wireless, portable speakers you can buy but like a Lambo, it can be a tough sell for everyday, average people. Not to mention that there are "cars" between the Altima and Lambo... like your BMW or my new 'Cat... just saying. Just to compare, try the JBL vs the DB XL3 and see what you think...
That makes no sense bro, that's like comparing a laptop to a PC. It's 2 different categories... Who's gonna huy a generator to take a 100 pound house speaker outside🤣 you can barley move the JBL around inside the house, much less take it outside. This speaker has to be compared to other portable speakers that you can carry around with one hand like the JBL boombox or Soundbocks, which this speaker easily destroys. If somebody doesn't need a portable speaker, then why not get a big giant house speaker like a Mackie or JBL 1000.
@@FlossyCarter Got it, I think... Hahaha! I didn't say a generator BTW, I'm talking about those portable power stations that cost around $500. Although, a small generator would do the job. I ain't gonna lie, if I got the DB XL3s or JBLs those bitches would NEVER leave my house anyway. I'm not trying to bring the party so hard that I'm willing to potentially scratch up or damage MY $5000 speakers! I think I got a couple Pulse 4s floating around. Deal with it! Hahaha!
Those power stations would only power a JBL for like an hour, you would need a full size gas powered generator to really use them outside 🤣🤣🤣 I wouldn't take the diamondboxx to the beach either, but definitely to the park or for tailgating. For the beach I'm taking 2 JBL boombox 3's and that portable refrigerator I reviewed, and then it's a party lol
@@FlossyCarter Depends on which one you choose... Bro, it's all about the numbers. They make power stations that can run your whole house!!! For example, I have the EcoFlow River Pro and it'll run a refrigerator for several hours. The DB XL3 has a 300Wh battery and the River Pro is 720Wh and costs $500. However, I do concede the point but personally, as I basically said in the beginning, NEITHER of these speakers are really fit to task. You'd be much better off, from a portability standpoint, with almost any mid sized bluetooth speaker. Like the PartyBox 310 for example at around $500, with 18 hrs runtime, 240 watts, IP4x splash proof, has wheels and an extending handle, rugged design, RGB, karaoke, mic/guitar input, etc. You could do 4 of them at the cost of one DB XL3... so nyahh!!! Hahaha! Oh and don't think I forgot about the PartyBox 710 for around $750!!! No battery but it would work better with a powerstaion, like my River Pro. In fact, since the DB XL3 runs around 600w with a 300Wh battery and the PB 710 runs around 800w, if you pair it with the River Pro, it should last almost twice as long at similar volume levels. If you got 2 PB 710s and a River Pro, it would cost around $2000 and last about as long as the DB XL3, I believe... Now that would be an interesting test! I almost forgot, the PartyBox On The Go is on sale for $250 right now!!! Pretty good deal. We still need to live stream soon! I understand if you're scared... j/k! Hahaha! See you later, cuz!!!
I bought an m3 in 2020, it was instant love, and it lasts forever!! Still going strong, I bought a jbl boombox 2 this year because it’s a bit more rugged and portable for outdoor activities, and flossy mentioned how awesome the bass was, he was right the bass is better than the m3 bass, punchier and deeper, but the m3 has way better quality sound, way more balanced, the boombox sounds kinda cheap compared to the m3, and I like a lot of rock music and it sounds way better on the m3, I was even a bit disappointed in the boombox, so I can only imagine the bigger diamondboxx’s sounding way better than your average speaker like jbl.
The M3 does have great sound quality. Add a SUB8.2 to it and you'll be in love. I definitely recommend the L3 over the M3. The step up in bass, quality, and loudness is way worth the money. I have pairs of both BB2's and BB3's. They sound great in spaces, especially corners. But outdoors in wide open spaces (like on my boat in the middle of nothingness on a body of water) the Boomboxes lack so much. I nonchalantly brought my M3 out with me one day just wanting something smaller and portable that day and I was shocked how great sounded. Outdoors sound quality of Diamondboxx's is so legit.
@@jackoff1826 yes definitely agree, I took my m3 to a creek with a bunch of friends one year, completely brought the whole area to life, it sounded so crisp and full, the following year I took my boombox because it’s waterproof and has better portability for hiking, but man was it lacking in bringing the place to life like the m3 did, I think the boombox has a very directional sound, vs the m3 is more multidirectional, also good to know I actually have been wanting to be convinced to buy the l3.
@@christianrobles2743 yes, the clarity and how wide it's sound goes all around the speaker, even behind it is unmatched. I just happened to have my M3 with me to bring on a trip where I was staying in a hotel out of town, so I didn't need anything crazy. The BB3 might actually be better for that purpose since it has more low end bass for inside over the M3, but I was also stopping on the way to attend a college football game that my coworkers' son plays for. I wasn't even thinking about it before leaving, but good thing I brought the Diamondboxx because it was a big tailgating set up they had and they brought no music to it. So I put the M3 on the roof of my Trans Am and cranked it up and it sounded pretty damn good and everyone was asking me how a speaker that small could sound that good. I just wished I had the L3 with me because they'd really see what I could do. I haven't tried the L3 and SUB8.2 outdoors together yet but look forward to it. And wiry their current sale going on and ending doing the colors I guess, I just snapped up an XL3 and another L3 (with bigger battery) both in the Cosmos effect colors. They should arrive on Monday. Here's a more recent video of this guy who compared a BB3, L3, and Devialet in the outdoor setting and you really see how the L3 shines. ua-cam.com/users/shortsgjqpyBSI1L4?si=nPIhezlfJ-T6tP_Q
@@WWeiss-nv5vz I went the Hifi route years back with Bi-amped B&W CM10s I found that it does sound better for sure with the right type of songs. However, the cost to even maintain Hifi doesn't make sense for that 10% of songs that sound better. When my receiver went out, and I looked at new ones again, I decided to try high-quality self-powered speakers. Fewer wires also these L3 are my 2nd attempt at this mindset. I am very happy with the outcome. The L3 is amazing and, I still get great depth and separation with two in stereo. I got 4 SB3000 because I wanted that sealed clean bass and the deep lows that a couple ported subs offer. I have them turned down so they just give a clean full sound with really tight bass.
I can vouch for @FlossyCarter I own 2 L3s, XL2, the sub 8.2 and an M3. My brother just bought the XL3 and said he gotta get the sub 8.2 because it sounds that much better with it. Diamond box have the best speakers no doubt.
Firstly, I thought I'm going to hear a crazy amount of sub bass like the JBL Partybox 1000, But after hearing that Bike Life song play through this speaker, I don't know about others, but to my ears, it doesn't sound like the cleanest and deepest bass, even my JBL Partybox 310 sounds so much cleaner and deeper! But Diamond Boxx speakers are great! But as Floss always use to say, "You have to take my word for it", I'm a believer of Floss!
I think these woofers do need some time to break in for the bass to settle in. I know it took a good week of for my old L2 to break in and have the bass improve in both volume and quality.
Damn Flossy you got that XL3 fast. I live in Pakistan and ordered mine like 2 weeks ago, now its at the airport where I have to get it released from so they will finally send it to me; the guy said that will take 10 days, hell that is longer than it took to arrive here from the USA, lol. I already have the L3 which is excellent so I can't wait to get my hands on this flagship of the Diamondboxx BT speakers. Mine will be in Blue, which I think is totally dope!
@@jaefrmbk2k Excellent, its really astonishing in terms of sound quality, esp. considering that its size is large for a portable BT Speaker system, but compared to a home stereo its rather small. I am obviously referring to that type of stereo with proper floor standing speakers. Also its built like a tank, bound to last many decades, which can't always be said of home stereos.
@@yaniggasteve2497 I like it. It’s loud and has a lot of bass. Way to much for my apartment. I only listen to it like half volume unless I take it to the beach or pool or some. Floss has an old video on it you should check it out. I haven’t had a jbl extreme though so I can’t compare those.
I have a aiwa exos 9 and I love it. It's been the life of many parties. It still works perfectly fine but I'm just here wondering what might be my next upgrade if my exos gives out
That's the only thing that I miss on my XL3 and L3: a swappable battery would make those BT speakers near perfect. However, Diamondboxx does sell batteries for their boomboxes, but unless you're sure that you can replaced them yourself its better to have someone professional do it for you.
Sounds great but at that price it's insane. You can almost get 3 soundboks 3s or now 4s. Bass won't be as deep but will be extremely loud. I own the SB3 and love it. Use it all the time for tailgating in rain and snow
$1,600 at this moment, even with the custom colors. I'm sooooo tempted. The BB3 is great in space and weather protection. But is nowhere near what the Diamondboxx's are to sound quality, especially outdoors. I think Diamondboxx's next venture will be making speakers with passive radiators, to give more weather protection. We'll see.

These Diamondboxx speakers absolutely SLAP! Dope video my dude.
So these videos come out in the morning in my time zone and honestly not gonna lie, those days I get to watch these before work my day is absolutely better.

You have a PHD is Viewology! I respect that💯

I own the M3 L3 and now have the XL3 and your right about everything you said.
You gotta own one to know the quality of the sound. I will never go back to any other speakers. I sold off my Bumpboxx when I bought my first Diamondbox
What do you think about a pair of m3s vs 1 L3?
I definitely take your word for it Floss you're the best certified speakerologist that I know of!
Excellent review and love the excitement. Feels like we are jamming together and both smiling the whole time 🤙
I have a diamond box and the speaker is amazing for portable speaker and if you feed them hi res audio, they are impressive
Tony looks like he knows what he is doing, this does look like the best speaker on the planet. Thank you Flossy for reviewing the Diamond Boxx speaker for us. Long live Flossy and long live the Diamond Boxx people.

LOL
I would definitely keep the XL2 and get the Sub8.2 to complete the madness 😂
Just leaving a support comment ! Always see the boy consistently posting
C'mon Flossy, really that good. Yes, it is cause I've had mine for three weeks. I was fortunate to pre-order and saved $400. I have it paired with my XL. I know a little about top-end speakers because I have some of the best that Polk Audio makes. Great vid as always.
All I can say is amazing. Even through my home speakers. When you added the sub I expected the bass to be noticeable, but it was tremendous
Man 😮
A BEAST! And super high quality sound. Can’t go without listening to music this way. Definitely made for true music lovers.
I appreciate how grounded you have remained despite gaining a massive following. Great reviews, have yet to be dissipointed. Quality content as always
I’ve followed flossy for 8 years now. Always humble, always quality.
You know it touch flossy soul when he start laughing and figuring out the words to say.
You really have to hear them in person especially two connected for stereo mode. The smaller model is also impressive. Your final ranking does not surprise me. These are truly incredible engineering and I'm glad to see them get more attention.
I'm not a true audiophile, but I do like expensive headphones. the first time I heard this speaker it was like hearing treble for the first time 🙃
Yeah I agree, these have to be experienced in real life to understand why they're so expensive lol
The video don't do it justice i would like to be in the studio and feel the experience myself and feel that bass. You rock Floss keep up the great work it's much appreciated.
Flossy, no doubt is the Michael Jordan of tech channels!! He is da man!!

The sound is mad crazy! Diamond Boxx is a beast!!!
DiamondBoxx is the truth! Floss is tellin it like it is as per usual 👊🏼 #Salute
There are also bigger but more expensive A700 floor speakers and Arendal 1723 tower which got a lot of praise, but these are not wireless and would need an integrated amplifier, which defeats the purpose of me reducing the size of my stereo system and getting rid of the extra cables :)
P.S. Im not an actual professor although I do have a master degree, it was merely the artisan name I used while I was with my local band.
I’ve owned m2 , m3 , l2 , xl2 , pa10 and pa15 and I’ve loved every one of them

Oh all i need now is a Playlist.. can u hook me with yours
Dang!!! 🎉 those Speakers are absolutely the best!! Clean and Loud!!
This is the best salesman pitch over any product I have ever seen in my life. If they aren’t paying you by now…. They are idiots! I am purchasing this box tonight. You had me at nipples hard. That’s my line but sir I will let you have it. Great job! If you ever need a marketing job, please let me know!

DiamondBoxx is back with the new Speaker King Baby! 💪👑👊
#SPmode4life 😂
Yeah, women just love big speaker systems don't they, lol....🤣😂
I'ma get this speaker on the Back Friday sale of 2028!! Always love the videos!
I have 2- XL2 and a sub8.2 and 1- M3. Sometimes I stack them some time I separate either way is quality sound. 🔊🔊🔊💪🏻
You're a real speaker enthusiast, I love it!
Hey Flossy, what's this song in 16:22 called? I cannot shazam it, but it sounds dope. Cheers

Trust me in person it’s unbelievable!
I put this XL3 in the back of my SUV and couldn't believe how crazy it sounded haha
Can't wait to see your review on the new Diamondboxx XX4! It will give the Soundboks 4 a run!
I got it connected 🔥
@@robertcarrillo8261Floss recommended me to go with the L3 + SUB8.2 combo over the XL3 if I only had $2K in hand. I'm damn happy with it. I recommend getting the SUB8.2 first to anybody that already has a decent speaker because you can just pair any speaker to it and it'll sound great...and have you wanting to also go get more from Diamondboxx.
I can hear the sound quality even though the microphone, that speaker sounds dope 👌🏾
I have the first original diamondboxx L Gold from back in 2016. I only had to replace the battery once.
Just realized floss posted every day for the last week. This is like the 12 days of Christmas except it's not 12 days and it isn't Christmas
You know Floss means business when he gives you the WEIGHT of a Bluetooth speaker. This one you need a dolly to drag this BEAST around! DAYUM I got a cheap earpiece and I could tell the difference when he changed volume levels and two paired together sick Sick SICK Floss!
The only product with the Cinco Major Go! It’s Worth Every last penny! 💪🤣👊
Owner of XL2, M3, L3, Sub8.2 & two Model40TWS and use almost all but the last two in my car weekly. I'm hearing impaired and lost about 90% each ear hereditarily. So the sound on these are very important for me and of course the vibrating back rubs' have felt very good to me.
bro begging to lose the remaining 10% instead of getting a hearing aid 💀
I'm still rockin the OG XL, maybe one day I'll upgrade but right now I'm trying to get my G.A.S. under control... 😄
Can't wait for you to get your hands on the XX4
Good presentation as always on all your reviews. Maybe it is me, but I thought a orb coming in on the mid left of screen going across. Keep up the good work. Even the spirits are disturbed by the loud sounding boombox.
Nah that's on your end bro 👀🤣
Bad ass speaker video from Floss = LIKE before I even get started. My speaker game is set, however, I'll watch because these are the best reviews on UA-cam and I'm always curious what's up. Bottom line, Floss reviews always deliver flagship specs. Happy Thanksgiving to you, your fam and, of course, White Shoes!!!
I have a M2 and a XL and they sound incredible. Yes they are pricey but if you appreciate QUALITY sound the price doesn’t bother you.
My JBL 100 speakers sounding a little weak after a year in a half of having them if I can sell them I would get one of these for my home.
"Now this is a portable Bluetooth speaker, it weighs 42 pounds" I like how you say that with a straight face
Well I lift weights so this is light for me
@@FlossyCarter Fair enough, bought the JBL Xtreme 3 on your recommendation, and am very happy with it, gets more than loud enough for me and is the perfect size to not become too unwieldly.
If anyone is interested I just saw the Shure Aonic 50 are going for $135 at Best Buy! Hands down the best deal I've seen this year
The Devialet Mania will not beat the diamondboxx but i recommend you review it. Its $790 and really small and with 30hz bass.
✊🏾💥💥💥Your Reviews ARE DOPE 👑💯💪🏾
Great great no nonsense review my man, but what I most like is you’re huge enthusiasm 😂 keep on going.
Hey floss that track you used for the pressure mode was🔥🔥 I need that brotha and I'm definitely buying this speaka man😊 you da man bro
By the way it makes the L3 looks like baby in size. 😆
The SUB8.2 is a great addition too, gets down to 32hz. I can't imagine how amazing your 26hz sounds like.
You know those speakers have bass when you have your subs closed all the way and the bass still comes through hard!
This has inspired me to make a version of the diamondbox 3XL myself.
Get the SUB8.2 to go with a speaker. It's amazing for bass, if that's what you're seeking.
Got mine yesterday. Worth it 😁
You got the Sub8.2?
@@FlossyCarter I ordered mine July 31, 2022. It’s about to be 5 months waiting for it lol. They replied to my email recently saying there was a delay because of some part being remade. But when I get get it 😈🙌🏼‼️😂
Crazy good! I’m needy and this is the bomb. What you playing at 27:02?
Diamond box does change your life,I'm a speakerolagist myself😄😄😄
Awwwwwwyea!
Diamondboxx army in here!!!
Hahaha!
Those power stations would only power a JBL for like an hour, you would need a full size gas powered generator to really use them outside 🤣🤣🤣
I wouldn't take the diamondboxx to the beach either, but definitely to the park or for tailgating.
Been waiting for this, didn't know if it was worth upgrading from the XL2
Flossy I been a subscriber since you made that air fryer video and you was eating chicken..video had me dying wid laughter bruh 😂😂

THIS WHY I LOVE FLOSS AND WHITE SHOES, BECAUSE THEY REVIEW SPEAKERS AND PHONES, GREETINGS FROM PHILIPPINES 😘
Flossy is king 👑
Best Bluetooth speaker ever shout to white shoes and flossy !!!! Is this ip64?
They are the best! I run two L3s and four SVS SB3000's 💪
I have one SB3000. Four must be incredible! With that quality bass shouldn't you be running Hifi tops?
Yeah if you have an XL2 or XL3, the Sub is mandatory to complete the setup.
WoW!!!!!!
A TRULY AMAZING SPEAKER!!!! 👏
Dam, Flossy is the punisher now!😆 thanks for the quality content.
@@linhtran8387 Yeah probably!
Mine will be in Blue, which I think is totally dope!
how is it so far 👀
@@jaefrmbk2k Excellent, its really astonishing in terms of sound quality, esp. considering that its size is large for a portable BT Speaker system, but compared to a home stereo its rather small. I am obviously referring to that type of stereo with proper floor standing speakers. Also its built like a tank, bound to last many decades, which can't always be said of home stereos.
I’ve always wanted a diamondboxx but I’m still rockin with my aiwa exos 9. I’ll upgrade eventually 👌
What's the exos 9 like? Especially compared to something like a jbl extreme. Looking to pick one up
@@yaniggasteve2497 I like it.
It still works perfectly fine but I'm just here wondering what might be my next upgrade if my exos gives out
This speaker is made from high quality material and also geniune us product for that price i would buy it too
Exactly
I wish they would do what soundboks does and make the battery swappable
That's the only thing that I miss on my XL3 and L3: a swappable battery would make those BT speakers near perfect. However, Diamondboxx does sell batteries for their boomboxes, but unless you're sure that you can replaced them yourself its better to have someone professional do it for you.
Sounds great but at that price it's insane. You can almost get 3 soundboks 3s or now 4s. Bass won't be as deep but will be extremely loud. I own the SB3 and love it. Use it all the time for tailgating in rain and snow
They're at $1,999 now.
We'll see.
Went to your go to beat off the break didn't even play wit them Floss that speaker dope, that beat tho 🔥
