Looking looking for an inexpensive way to get my wife to go fishing with me this pretty much fits the ticket self-righting jet platform I think you guys nailed it
UDI RC are fun.. I have my bigger Arrma and Traxxis cars for big areas, crawlers for crawling but we have 3 little UDI drift trucks sitting around our motorbike workshop, mates/good customers will come around for a beer on a friday and we set up a little drift track and go crazy crashing into everything with no damage
I was thinking about that for trolling with a steel leader and either lure or worm with my bait runner surf casting pole rig so when I get a hit, drop the tx, grab the pole, hit the fish(set the hook for non fisherman/fisherwomen) &😊
I owned one of these when I was little. it was one of my best toys, back then they were not expensive at all and they were sold at dollar general. almost same toy
Well the Inkfish PRO has a 3500KV brushless motor, 80A marine-grade water-cooled ESC and all the electronics are 2.4GHz hobby-grade with fully-proportional control. This is significantly more advanced than the 'toy-grade' units with propellers at the back.
Aw, they're cute. I have the Koyosho surfer. So much fun in Half Moon Bay surfing the waves of the Pacific Ocean. At least it won't be me being eaten by a shark. Too many attacks and close calls lately.
I was picturing a little rider; fpv guy/ robot, like a Caddx vista or dji03 with camera head on a gimbal with headtracking, with his little vTx backpack lol 😅. That’d be so awesome 😮
Our shop sells the Jet Ski. We just sold the last one but we have more on the way. Here is the brushless model: www.amainhobbies.com/udi-rc-inkfish-electric-rtr-brushless-jet-ski-udi023b/p1533014
Yeah, the 2-n-1 rx unit has some lag. We mentioned it a little at the end of the video, but the lag wasn't felt much when actually driving, but its very noticeable testing it on the bench. The dedicated rx in the BL model is much better, with no noticeable lag. -Brett
Is the brushless motor actually watercooled? Looks like an outrunner that really can't be. The water tube looks like it just runs to the esc, not the motor.
FYI the correct term is watercraft. Jet Ski is a Kawasaki trademark as Waverunner is a Yamaha trademark. All makes and models are considered "watercraft "whether it's a standup, 2 seater or 3 seater sit-down model. The more you know. lol
The manual says about 10 minutes of continuous use. We got more time of out of them, 15-20 minutes, but we stopped and chatted and probably waisted a few minutes. It just depends on how hard you drive the throttle. -Brett
Why would they make this without a rider? I does leave the option to pick your own frond the hundreds that are out there. I think I will have to get one but wait end get a used one for half price.
I agree with the comment " looks goofy without a rider" etc. I like the self righting feature, but won't do that with the desired/essential rider doll on board. Shame a doll figure isn't moulded onto the seat and fully enclosed ( buoyancy) which would aid the tip-over issues to start with !
@@BlackSeaRC No, but seeing the height of the doll used on the bench I can imagine the drag would just be too much to allow the jet ski to flip upright. Would like to see a 'real world test' of same scenario though.
i think they should have canned the whole jet-ski thing and just made them mini boats. put little spoilers on them, with bright neon colors and it’ll be much better to race with friends
It's a PWCs, personal watercraft. Proper nouns like Jet Ski, Sea Doo, WaveRunner are brand name trademarks. Unless you like calling all American muscle cars "Mustangs."
I could easily be wrong but from the video it looks to be about 8th scale maybe 7th scale I think a Traxxas UDR would have been a good size comparison the Traxxas UDR is about 1/7 and a 1/2 scale
In my video, I checked the dimensions against the Sea-Doo RXT-X 300 (2023) and, yes, it is exactly 1:10 scale. See my full review and testing on a nice stretch of river on my channel if you are interested.
Hey, does the underwater propeler distrub fish in the pond? Please make review video about swamp RC. Here in my area, the water pond is always full of fish and leaf too.
I enjoyed this a great deal.. thank you!

@@MidTrisYT I really enjoy the hobby :)
Yessuhhhh I know your going to do a upgrade video on it
what are you doing here?!

I love these little niche RC models. The self-righting is so cool

That thing looks like a lot of fun!
well, i'll be picking a few of these up! my nephew has a massive swim spa and these look perfect for it!
watercooling with warm water isnt the ideal cooling but itll definately work

Losi needs to throw the promoto rider on a large scale jetski. That would be a killer idea🤘
My wife supports my RC affliction. She saw this and said “where’s the dude? FAIL!!”.
She’s the Greatest, and she’s Right!!
Out of stock everywhere lol nice!! great vid guys
You just know that some backwoods country boy will be tying a spinner bait on the back of one of these . That would be awesome !!!! LOL!!!

@@paulcasey8074 Let us know !!! LOL!
Not gonna lie, they look kinda goofy without a rider figure.
Looks dumb.
u can say that about any rc
@@Murphys_Law9not really as they sit in a vehicle not on it, I completely agree it should of come with a rider
I have no problem straping a gi Joe to it. Or the six million dollar man doll from when I was a kid
It's like an RC motorbike without a rider.
I need one of these on a trailer behind the scale truck
That's funny lol. I just bought a real jet ski and now I have to get this to go with it😂
Jet ski racing let's go!!!!!!!
This Jet-ski is really looking interesting 👌 I wanna test these ones in the lake
these would be perfect for the pool
Its a little jet boat with a jet ski top i like it would be good for track racing well done 👏

Very nice. Gonna have to find me a stunt squirrel!
I've been looking at these for a bit, just with the were a little bit smaller
Would love to see this upgraded to the max
Yeah, definitely need a rider there. Even a really cheap rider would make it looks less silly.
It's very cool someone's going to make that real quick.
fantastic job on this!
Just ordered the brushless one from Bangood!
Will have to get one for the slough in the back yard
We need another video of this brushless product
i guess if boats is your thing this is pretty cool cause coming in as a basher its still super COOL
great video

Good spot for it! Is that where you live? I'm from Santa Cruz.
-Brett
Should've had compared the size with the 18 scale maybe even the SCX 24 or the FMS Blazer maybe be a nice size.
Now we just got to put squirrels on them.
needs a figure; perhaps a 1/6 scale so it would be the water equivalent of the Losi Pro Moto MX
I think they suggest 6 or 7 inch so that is around 1:10 scale.
its 10th scale, look at the dimensions compared to Seadoo GTX (that seems to be "inspiration" for this)
Well, I am going to have to get this, fabricate a trailer, and tow behind my TRX4....
What are the IPX rating on the jetskies??
Hmm, not sure, it's not stated anywhere.
-Brett
Ip 67 rated esc and motor
Another great video, as always! 👍🏻
1/8 scale nitro version, o.s. .21 rtr and kit. good video man $$$
Looks pretty good, if the driveline is tough aka shaft and impeller it should be capable of more power and speed.
I was picturing a little rider; fpv guy/ robot, like a Caddx vista or dji03 with camera head on a gimbal with headtracking, with his little vTx backpack lol 😅. That’d be so awesome 😮
A hidden propeller is called an impeller on a boat.
It looks like a gi joe could fit perfect on that cool jetski, please find some and do another video so you can stop the hate!
Hola Amigo muy divertidas las motos de agua me gustan, muchas gracias y feliz dia
@AMain Hobbies
Can I change the receiver on this?
can it run on lipo instead of li on
No jump in the middle of the pond?
Can these run on lipo's or just the li-ion supplied?
Needs a rider like the promoto
Better check with RCSparks he would probably love to play with this at the Creek
Essential an rc boat with handle bars
Ordered brushed but will upgrade!!
Good review but testing the speed comparison in a wake pond isn't sufficient. lol this damn thing is on back order!
Will a Traxxas 2200 mah battery fit?
the jet ski behind a small toota is that exact scale lol seadoo 300 are 14ft lol
Nice video, where to purchase this toy at?

@@AMain_Hobbies ok thanks you…
How fast is it🤨
I want one of those jetskis for my hamster
order yet ,in stock
Clever using the momentum of the impeller to self-right.
The momentum of the rotor* yes as that probably weighs like 8 times more than the impeller. Or maybe we should just say the whole drivetrain.
It only works properly when the battery is close to full though...so don't capsize at the end of your run!
6:20 that was quite the steering lag.
Yeah, the 2-n-1 rx unit has some lag. We mentioned it a little at the end of the video, but the lag wasn't felt much when actually driving, but its very noticeable testing it on the bench. The dedicated rx in the BL model is much better, with no noticeable lag.

@@AMain_Hobbies Good to know. I wish I had more places in water to run I'd love to get one of these.

very cool man! love the video!
Is the brushless motor actually watercooled? Looks like an outrunner that really can't be. The water tube looks like it just runs to the esc, not the motor.
Looks like the mounting plate the motor is on is water-cooled, if it's metal anyway. I had a boat that was like that
Pretty cool

thats what i was thinking. In Australia we call these PWC = Personal Watercraft
All it needs is a tiny scale rider!!
already bought one had to
Normally these boats are already self righting, to have a switch is like to me now a step back if asked as technology is way in advance today
What's the battery life?
The manual says about 10 minutes of continuous use. We got more time of out of them, 15-20 minutes, but we stopped and chatted and probably waisted a few minutes. It just depends on how hard you drive the throttle.

Kind out sound like real jet skis too
I wannuh see the propeller!!!
Can these be run in salt water?
The manufacturer recommends not to use it in salt water.
Does it come in red
There are only two versions at present. UDI023 is grey with green graphics. UDI023PRO is black with yellow graphics.
